Mine is rustic and simple. 3/8" thick steel ring, 42" diameter sunk 1/2 way into the ground by the edge of my woods. I burn anything too thick or gnarley to split. I supply the beer, bring your own camp chairs.
My God, a 10 year old feeding a big chipper. Where were your parents? You are lucky to be alive. There was an incident some years ago in Kenosha Wi where an experienced chipper guy disappeared into the pile. Gruesome accidents can and do happen in real life.
Anyone looking for an enclosed cab off a Steiner 430 max. I took it off because I don't blow snow. It was modified by previous owner, the back was extended so the seat could go back further. Must of been a fat guy. It is in very good condition with rotating light, cb radio/antenna, horn etc.
