My battery is hot - 12.2 amps. Nothing happens when I turn the key. The glow plug light doesn't come on. I cleaned the battery post and connections. Made sure my ground wire was clean and secure. Not sure what I should check on next....ANY IDEAS?

I can get the 3616 to 2000 rpms but with any load at all the rpms rapidly drop off and it may die completely. I changed the fuel filter, both air filters and cleaned out the fuel tank....all that took a day and then it started right up, got it to 2000 rpms, engaged the brush cutter and it died...
