Have 2015 3540 HST it seems to have strange exhaust system. Nothing like it in ANY pics of 2015 3540's. Mine has vertical pipe with about a 4' stack and mounting bracket on hood..it not homemade.???

I have looked at the schematic showing the govenor compensating spring (#20) but cannot find where the 2nd end connects. There is a hole in the bell-crank for one end but I read the other end hooks under battery box. I do not see this on my 861 and it is original or was until the spring broke...
