1710 Ford 4x4 gear drive--The clutch doesn't release as it should so the pto grinds when it's engaged and doesn't stop when the clutch is depressed. Seems the pto clutch is stuck/froze and needs to be freed. There is a large rubber plug on the right side of the bellhousing to access the clutch...
Usually if an engine is surging, it is starving for fuel and the governor opens, then relaxes the throttle. Probably a dirty/partially plugged carb jet. Run it about half throttle and spray some good carb cleaner through it.
OK--I have an old 580B Case backhoe/loader that uses the loader frame as the reservoir. Does Kubota use the same loader on any of their tractors that would work on the LB1914 Kioti?
Great picture. I'm not at the tractor location now but, tomorrow I'll check to see if mine looks the same. Do the Kioti loaders use part of the frame as the hydraulic fluid reservoir or will I have to find/build one?
I don't quite understand where the loader hoses/lines go. I see that I'm looking down on the valve and looks to be 4 lines attached. There appears to be 2 hex head plugs between the existing lines so, is that where the loader lines go?
There is a splined shaft sticking out from the front of the crankshaft. I just assumed it was for a front pump but, it may be for a belly mower. There is also a cutout in the frame for a shaft to run forward.
I would like to add a front loader to a LB1914 4x4 Kioti. Where would I attach the hydraulic lines? Could I use a Kubota front pump that attaches to the crankshaft or does Kioti have one? thanks, gregjo1948

I recently bought a Kubota front loader LA344. It has a quick connect/disconnect coupler attaching the hydraulic lines to the tractor. I didn't get the part of the coupler that stays with the tractor when the loader is removed. I have the coupler part that has the locking handle that stays with...
Ford 2000 with select-o-speed trans.and 4 cylinder engine... I want to get rid of the SOS trans.and replace it with a manual trans... I want to know what model Fords will have manual trans. that will interchange. I think the 600-900 series will work and the early 2000-4000 4 cylinder models...
