    511 grille guard

I hadn't thought of the clear coat. Thats a pretty good idea for ease of maintenance. Regarding the R14's, I still slide/lose traction in wet dirt unless I go to 4wd. Haven't locked the diff to see if it made a difference. I'll be out there today clearing more debris piles. Supposed to be 74º in...

    511 grille guard

Mine didn't have stainless fasteners. My recommendation would be to have some washers included for the factory fasteners where they are reused. Some did not have washers from the factory which causes the head of the bolt to scrape the paint. It's ok. It's a work tool in the end.

    CK2620 with KL4030 or KL4030c

My understanding is they are built by two separate suppliers. I have the KL4030 and it works fine for my needs. Not sure if the 100lb difference in capacity is a deal breaker as it wasn't in my case.

    511 grille guard

Got around to installing Justin's fantastic grille guard. Looks nice and I am sure it will help. Last week I had crap falling out of the bucket from the burn pile cleanup. It was a beautiful day in Southwest MO to get this done. I also replaced the 30 year old dim fluorescent lights with high...

    Subwoofer and other things

Partying??!!! LMAO. There's no room to dance in one of these! I worked the entire day in pure comfort. Loaded a 40 yard dumpster from a previous homeowners debris/burn pile. Loved every minute of it. Put 8.6 hours on my new tractor. Has its scratches to prove it. Love my machine and the radio...

    Subwoofer and other things

I put in a radio and subwoofer. it was easy to remove the roof cover to run the two RCA cables. Sounds so much better with the little 6.5" powered sub. The worst part was running a wire to the battery but with some thinking, it worked out well. (fused at the battery terminal) New speakers as an...

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

Thank you, that is very useful information. Having moved from the desert to MO, tractor operations there were/will be different with the need to learn snow removal/relocation.

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

I would not have thought of using a mid mount mower but the mid PTO for a future snow thrower would be intriguing. That said, I hear it's a pain in the ass to get the snow thrower mounted and removed. If we get more snow I may look into one of those reverse units.

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

Thank you! I've already removed the roof to get some wiring in for a subwoofer. yeah, I know, its a tractor... I still enjoy a good sounding music while I work. I'm not one to put earbuds in or use headphones. Just my odd personality regarding things in my ears. So far it's coming out nice and...

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

My new toy arrived today. I ordered it with a forklift attachment and a stump bucket. Working on installing a new stereo and subwoofer. Heat works amazing in the 11º cold!

    Tree shovel

In my case, it's all tear out. I did find a stump bucket for the job. Most of the stuff I have are grassy plants that the previous owner placed right next to the house. Some vine plants which are growing into the crawlspace as well. Those roots will be interesting to remove... I have not taken...

Kubota L2501 Turbo: A Journey Defined - The Tractor, The Comparison, The Modification, The Results

I would be interested in a Kioti 2620 kit when you create one. My only challenge is having the cab version with A/C if that would be a problem with space/fitting. Certainly no rush.

What did you buy this week?

Helicopter ride for my two employees wiring up my house. Branson MO 1/12. I flew them in from AZ since I do not trust anyone here to do the job. Been ripped off by a so called hack of a framer. Lady pilot was outstanding. Smoothest ride I have been on.

RX7340 radio upgrade and spinning knob

I ordered a powered sub woofer for my compact cab tractor. I'll update when it comes and I get a chance to wire it up. Where did you find the steering wheel spinner?

What did you buy this week?

Bought a 6.5" sub woofer for my compact cab tractor. Figured for the price, lets see how it would sound!

Not really an attachment per se, SawHaul...

yep, that's the one. I agree it is expensive for what you get. Not really important. I think you just helped me make up my mind. I'll look into alternatives. Thank you!

Not really an attachment per se, SawHaul...

Has anyone mounted one of these on a compact cab tractor? I have a Kioti 2620cab on its way and this looks like I could put it to good use. If not a great place to "store" my Stihl chain saw. I guess my real concern is if the saw will block my left side view of the bucket. I didn't get any real...

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

The deal is done on the 2620. I have 6 acres total divided into two lots. Both are fairly flat with a few trees. Grass is nothing special appearance wise. HOA is not controlled by Karen’s since we live in a 12 house community. HOA is there for a shared well membership. Tractor has much work to...

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

The loader is not the “C” version. I’m not at all concerned since I highly doubt I’ll lift anything over 1000lbs. My bus engine is 3800lbs so this tractor is ruled out for servicing it! I already bought fork lift attachment and a three toothed stump bucket. I’m good for a while. Well almost. I...

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

I don’t think it has the mid PTO. From my understanding it is either factory ordered or the dealer can install one. My package came out to 33k out the door which includes a 4k finish mower. I put down 5k to keep it under 375 a month. Selling dealer was S&H Farm in Rogersville MO. Great service...

    Tree shovel

Thanks guys. I spoke to my dealer. He recommended a three toothed bucket that's 277lbs. Not bad of a weight for my needs and tractor size. My plan is to remove overgrown shrubbery. Nothing to relocate. His price was $900 and discounted from $1500. Might be handy to dig for new plantings too...

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

Thank you! Well, with work going on in the house and the little shop garage being full of stuff, I have no where to put this thing. Aside from that, I don't want the trades to think I am rich. You get the idea...Shiny delivered tractor equates to one having money and thus their bills go up...

    Tree shovel

I bought a Kioti 2620 cab tractor which will be delivered in a couple weeks. I am looking to get a tree shovel to remove small bushes and 2-4" diameter trees. Does anyone have input on experience? I do not want to spend too much on this since once I am done with using it, the tool will stay in...

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

Thank you! I should have negotiated the backhoe in the deal... Now that is one implement I would just go out back and dig holes for fun! I'll post pics when it arrives. I miss having a tractor. My little bobcat skid steer was fun to use. Neither pieces of equipment ever felt like a chore or a...

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

Thank you for all the replies. While I do agree that a Zero turn would be the superior choice, I am wanting a do it all machine and the tractor would be more useful. I don't mind taking time to mow the properties. I enjoy being outdoors but not in weather hence, the climate controlled cab. As I...

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

Thank you! Yeah, I am not after golf course grass. It's a mix of weed, sticks and green. No irrigation to it other than natural precipitation. I don't want to deal with windrows or excess clipping buildup. House already has an abundance of dried up clipping clumps. Not sure if the previous owner...

Debating on 2620 cab or a zero turn

I haven't been on this forum in years. My last tractor was one of those grey import Vietnamese used Yanmar units. I loved that thing and used it well on my one acre dirt property in Mesa AZ. I had sold it 10 years ago for a bobcat MT85 skid steer since I mainly used it for trenching and...

    Been Busy with Remodel

So I haven't been on here posting for a bit as my business and remodel took over. Everything is fine and the tractor has been very good to me. Took it to Lowe's for a drywall run since I was too lazy to undo the trailer from it and onto my van.

    Rear Forks

I have an 1802d with a Heavy Hitch (Awesome product) and noticed on their site they have forks that attach to the hitch. Anyone have forks on their Yanmars? Will I be tipping the thing over by moving say 800lbs? My main uses will be to move pallets of wire and pavers around the property among...

    Replacing knuckle seals

I removed the front knuckles from my 1802 tractor to replace badly leaking seals. I have the seals and a seal resurface kit. Anyone have tips or tricks before I tear into this thing? What did you use to install the 6" diameter seal with, etc. Thank you!

More detail work on my 1802d

So a couple of months ago, I stripped the rear section of the tractor and had it powder coated. It is an excellent running unit so I decided to make it look new so I can be the one to put scratches on it. More importantly, its easier for me to wash it clean and keep it new looking as long as...

    restored dash on my 1802d

I've been tinkering with the tractor for the last few weeks with more stuff waiting to come back from the powder coat shop. I did get the dash support cowl back and they did a gorgeous job of it. I repainted the black plastic dash and replaced the fuel/temp gauges as my originals were thrashed...

    Added a LED light bar

I added a LED light bar onto the canopy of my 1802d yesterday. The headlights were really dim when working at night. I already had two rear mounted LED lights for box blade work which was an immense help. The new light sure puts out quite a bit.

    New member here!

I bought a used/recon Yanmar 1802d a few months ago for my small property needs. It has done very well and I am continuously impressed at how it always starts on the first crank despite using diesel fuel that has been stored in jerry cans for almost 2 years! I finished grading my property last...
