    Backhoe Kubota BH92 Backhoe

I have an L3560 HSTC and had a BH92 installed by the dealer a couple of years ago. The gpm is 8.1 and the tractor carries and works it just fine. The BH92 is Kubota's top of the line with a arched boom and I got a hyd. thumb with it and it is great for lifting and moving boulders and stumps, I...

    Glare Ice Solution

My neighbor is a masonry contractor and he gets salt/sand mix and I have a open shed at the end of my drive that he puts it in and I have a Herd spreader I load up after plowing and spread on his hill and my hill. He pays for the material and I spread it, good deal. Wish I had a better picture...

    DIY backhoe dolly

I made a dolly for my BH92. It is hard to move because of the weight of the BH, but once rolling it moves pretty good. PJohnson, mine is lower so that I can roll it into place under the BH while it is on the tractor and then use the out-riggers and bucket to lift it off the tractor and lower...

Storing backhoe attachment for the winter?

I have a Kubota L3560HSTC with a BH92 backhoe, I always store mine inside the barn on a dolly I made. I prevent "sag" of the out-riggers by hooking them together with a tie-down ratchet strap.

9" snow pusher or 9' snowplow?

I have a 1000' gravel driveway and use a plow I bought from QuickAttach that converts to a pusher with retractable wings. Like nybirdman said, pusher's are for parking lots, you'll use the blade much more than the pusher in residential use.

Buying Advice Late 1950’s Wheel Horse Lawn Tractor

I have a 1972 Wheel Horse I recently purchased (last year) and went on the "Red Square" site and it is all Wheel Horse. I love the fun little 'horsey'! Check out the site and you'll be hooked. Like 1965 said, offer $500. Great to show off at parades, farmer's markets, and other get togethers.

Dirt Driveway - Looking for assistance with ruts

I have a 1000' driveway and it meanders thru the woods and up hill to my house. On the hill the excavator put 'rip-rap' and pushed it into the ground by driving his TLB over it, then used 3/4" 'crush-n-run' over it. the hill continues to was out looking like the Grand Canyon but I use my...

    Slope Question

You might want to think about a 'tiltmeter' like they have in the site store. I bought one because I have a lot of hills and uneven areas on my property.

What did YOU do to your tractor today?

I bought a "tiltmeter" from the store here on TBN and installed it today. Real easy to install and it came out great. Lots of hills and uneven areas on my property. This works nice!

    Snow Equipment Buying/Pricing snow chains

Another place to look is tirechainsrequired.com I bought mine from them and just ordered some for the front. I need them because of all the ice on my drive.

Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Pictures of your snow weapons

I've been thinking about a rear blower for mine, but for now, this is the first winter w/o my truck and plow and using my Kubota 100%. Works well with plow and grader blade, but even with chains on the rear the ice on the drive is tough. I ordered chains for the front but they haven't come in...

    Fluorescent to LED

I'm thinking of changing from Fluorescent lighting to LED. There are several ways I've looked at and all are kind of expensive. The most expensive is to change all fixtures and bulbs together. Less expensive is to just change the bulbs and bypass the ballast. The house has bulbs with pins on...

    anyone using a WoodMaxx blower??

Katahdin, what kind of road do you have? I have a 1000' drive that is gravel and a big hill that curls up to the house at the end. I have a front mounted plow and rear grader as well as a sander for the tractor. My neighbor had a blower on his Bobcat and hated it and finally sold it and told...

Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Pictures of your snow weapons

I have a plow I purchased from QuickAttach with wings that make it a snow pusher and just fold around the back for storage when not needed and I also have a grader blade for the rear and a 3 pt. sander that works great.

What do you use for a fuel transfer tank?

I got tired of those 5-gal. cans spilling all over the place, heavy, hard to lift and fill, so I bit the bullet and bought a Roughneck tank with a pump. Holds 30-gal. and I can go all summer with that.

Pulling tree out of pond with the Kubota

I really enjoyed your video on the carry all and couldn't wait to make one for myself. I changed a few things, like I added some PVC pipes for holding long handle items like shovels, rakes, brooms or hoes, and I put the chain saw holders on the sides and outside to leave room inside for other...

Pulled the trigger on a new F150 today.

I bought a left over 2016 F150 w/3.5 eco boost on president's day. I was going to get a 2017 but was turned off by the "stop/start" technology used. I rented a car with it in England for a month while on business there and HATED it. There are ways around it, but it is annoying and I wouldn't...

    broken antenna

I had to wait for the rain to stop before going to the barn or I would have gotten soaked. Here are a few pics. I ordered an antenna from ebay. It was cheap enough and looked like a close match, I'll post when I get it and try to install it.

    broken antenna

I broke the stud off the antenna base. I got it out of the antenna mast, but now I need the round piece with the stud. The dealer said he could only sell me the complete antenna for $80. The part I need probably is only about $5. if that. Anyone have any ideas? By the way, this is on my...

    L3560

I love my L3560HSTC. I bought it for the heat in the winter as I hate the cold and plowing my 1000' gravel drive with the winds whipping the snow at me sucks. The bonus was the AC as the glass on the cab is like a greenhouse, the sun comes in and heats up like an oven. The AC works great and...

    Time for Chainsaw Chaps

I now keep the chaps in the barn with the chain saws and other equipment for cutting. I saved the nice plastic bag w/handles and hung it up and keep them in there. It has a nice zipper on it to keep the bugs and mice out too.

    Time for Chainsaw Chaps

I now keep the chaps either in the barn next to the chainsaws, or in the tractor ready for use. By the way, been to PEI many times, my last name is Gallant, so many ties to the area. My father's family came from Shediac, NB. Careful using that saw, my wood shed is almost full for the coming...

    Plowing Snow on Gravel

Well, I have been dealing with this for 26 years, usually with my truck and plow. Got rid of the plow truck and now use my Kubota with a plow I bought from Quick Attach. Everything goes good but I have trouble with my gravel drive way being dug up. I put the skid shoes on and try to set the...

    Backhoe Decision

I went round and round like you last year. After seriously considering the WoodMax, I went with the Kubota with the sub-frame. Like you I don't have an everyday use for it, but it really has come in handy moving boulders with the hyd. thumb. It does take a little time to take off the 3-pt...

    Backhoe  Trenching bucket

I have a Kubota BH-92 and I'll be working along the side of a hill on a flat area putting in a wall. I need to trench along the edge where I am putting the wall and the bucket on the backhoe is too large. Other than going to the dealer what options do I have for a bucket? It is not a quick...

Buying Advice Starting from scratch (both land and equipment) - 5 acres

    Attachment storage?

I cut out a section of hillside along my driveway and used Home Depot wall stones to build a storage area for mine. I have to leave them outside, but I put them on 4X4's or pallets and cover them in the winter, except for the snow plow.

    Stabilizer pads

I have a Kubota BH92 and have been trying to find the part # for the "rubber shoes" as they call them or what is also called "street shoes". The owners manual and the Kubota site parts look-up doesn't even list them. Also if anyone knows the approx price that would help.

    New to this

I'm new to this thing, I have enjoyed reading the posts in the forums, but have not until now decided to join in. I've had a Kubota tractor (I'm on my 4th) since 1993. I love my newest, purchased in 2014, the L3560 HSTC. The cab makes it a pleasure to use in the winter, I'm warm inside (hate...
