Driving with a big load over bumps, can put stress on the hydraulic system. It's also hard on the front differential, if you are in 4wd. If it's unable to lift it, it's telling you that you are over the limit. I would divide the load, and make another trip. It could save you some headaches...

The loader capacity is what I was referring to. At 325# looks like you can lift about 500-600 lbs., with those forks, give or take. Less, if the load is on the tips of the forks. Because it could tip. I'm wondering how useful that ends up being, in actual conditions?

After installing more aftermarket body parts than you can imagine, I have a very low opinion of them. ESPECIALLY lights. So, while yeah, it's a tractor who cares, I still would throw up a little in my mouth, if I had to install one.

MF parts are commonly as much as 3x higher than a similar automotive part. But, in the case of that headlight, it's actually not out of line from what I would expect a similar sized automotive light to cost.

The newer standard is to make hydraulic oils multi-viscosity, rather than the straight 30w it was years ago. This helps with operations in cold weather Twenty years ago, Permatran III was straight 30w.

I usually take mine off in the fall to mount the plow, and put it back on in the spring. I can do it in a few minutes. Pull the screws, lower it on to a dolly, push the pins to one side, with a drift, until they clear the arms, and roll the bucket away.

You can take the front bucket off the loader frame in a few minutes too.

Mine has always started right up. I have no block heater, and never use more than 30 seconds of glow plug time. Like Irving's battery, I guess it will remain one of life's great mysteries. 🤔

About 6 years ago, we put Gator Mulch G6 blades on my dads Hustler, and a mulching flap over the deck opening. We vac no more. That thing grinds the leaves into almost dust. And, he gets a LOT of leaves.

Amazon now shows some "compatible" Chinese filters, if saving $12 means a lot to you. As Irving said, there are no officially cross referenced filters. Some people use the Kubota BX aftermarket filters, which are not exactly the same. But, do fit, and may be close enough.

Real long, high quality screws, that engage not just the door frame, but the building framing, are critical on strikers. I also have a steel plate bolted to the inside face of 6x6, that the striker is attached to. My thought is, make the thieves work for it.

It never hurts to check. But, once fasteners have been properly torqued, and later checked, they should not loosen. It was probably never properly tightened. If they still become loose, something is wrong. I would then move to thread lock, lock nuts, or double nutting.

I would isolate the fuel pump from the tractor wiring, and verify that it hasn't failed. It's one of the first things that turn on when you energize the ignition switch. If it runs, start following the wires, looking for inline fuses and, melted wire shorts.

We are aware that the NAPA and the Wix filters are spec'd for the GC. They generally cost too much like the OEM, but are at least more accessible. There are several threads about filters, and what's avalaible.

I don't think they weld them, I think they use aluminum brazing rod. I have done some really remarkable things with that stuff. But, never tried to repair a radiator. Cut 10"off the front of this aluminum golf cart bed, and brazed it all back together.
