Grease - is there no better way? Can we talk about this?

The two items on my tractor that are the most grease sensitive are the lower loader bucket pins and the rotary cutter tail wheel. Moving a lot of dirt one day and the bolt that holds the lower bucket pins in place sheared off. Seems under load and lack of grease created a rotational torque on...

    Inflatable Paint Booth?

A vendor at work uses one. They typically do 1 or 2 panels on a vehicle and a lot of bumpers. Depending on the area he is working on he will offset the car in the booth to have more working room. I am surprised how durable this thing is. It stays on site but it is inflated and deflated every...

    Concrete Chairs

What's your opinion on post tension slabs? I did not even know it was a thing until a few years ago. My initial thought was it seems like a good technique with the only downside being the equipment required for the tensioning.

    What puts mud on trees?

Hogs....... Insects bite hogs. They cover themselves in mud in attempt to stop insects. Then rub on trees, posts, fences, ect to scratch the itch leaving mud evidence behind. You might be able to find the waller nearby. A 2-3 foot circular depression in the mud.

Battery based electric vehicles of today and tomorrow.

I'm on the fence with the EV revolution, but let's be fair......the government is not forcing people to buy EV's So far, the EV orders (both CA and Bidens EO) state that no new ICE vehicles can be sold as of the effective date. The current orders do not require ICE owners to give up their cars...

Any HVAC Experts On Board? Lennox?

Invertor compressor is variable. It can operate from approximately 30 percent to 100 percent. The system can adjust output according to demand. So as the room temp drops, so does the compressor output. The software tries to keep the system running for maximum comfort, however if it is at 30...

Any HVAC Experts On Board? Lennox?

I have 3 pioneer mini splits. My understanding and experience is they have a 4 degree swing on-off. Mini splits are designed to keep you comfortable and control humidity by running continually. They do not cycle like typical split systems. Mini splits are quiet and energy efficient, however...

Images broken using Tapatalk app - FIXED

It has been a couple weeks since I have been here. I noticed a few days ago that the images show up broken in the Tapatalk App. Is this something that will be addressed or do I need to use a different app? Example:

Tappatalk- images in posts are broken

Noticed a few days ago that I cannot see images in posts. I get a generic gray box with an image of a broken photo. Two weeks ago I could see images fine. Other forums on Tapatalk I follow do not have this issue. Thanks!

What else do you do with forks besides lift pallets?

Breaking in a new stove outside. The new paint off gasses while curing during the first couple fires. If done inside, you have to ventilate the house because of the fumes. Forks came in handy for moving the stove away from the house to do the break in and move it back again.

SSQA For Kubota - I need one.

Maybe I missed something in the thread but my first though seeing those pics is...... Those flat braces have no torsion strength. Those plates are not going to remain in sync like that. You can see on the item Travis posted, WR long used box tube as it provides torsion strength. Again, if...

    L2501 oil change

Using the Messiks online parts diagram, it shows the Tachometer as cable driven. The gauge panel is an assembly. Therefore I conclude that the hour meter gets its data from the tachometer. That means the hour meter is more of an RPM counter then a clock. So the statements that one hour at PTO...

    SSQ Bucket falls off

So a couple people responded that they did not see what I think is wear on the bucket. My eyes are not what they used to be, however this still looks like a problem to me. Maybe the main problem, maybe not, but looks like it needs to be addressed. Am I just seeing things?

How to build and maintain a campfire?

In reference to a campfire, the type to sit around and talk, have a beer, roast marshmallows, ect, what type of "fireplace" do you prefer and why? I've seen fires built on the ground, in various homemade brick, block, or rock areas and in purchased metal bowls (labeled fire pits) some open some...

    Have a weird Septic issue

Yep, that would be the restriction. Those pumps are designed for 1.5 to 2 inch pipe. For a 225 foot run, I would think 2 inch would be recommended. You will need to run new pipe and make sure you install a check valve close to the pump and a gate valve after the check valve. The gate valve...

Learning to use a Box Blade (my personal journey)

It is often said that the learning curve is long on a box blade. Because of this many users simply use it for a counterweight. I wanted to share my experience with learning to use a box blade. Maybe it will help someone new to this versatile tool or maybe fellow TBNers just may enjoy the read...

Dealers / Parts personel L7374 Valves

Long shot but figured I would ask....... Put in a build order for an L2501 with my local dealer. One option I requested was Top and Tilt with the 3 rear remote valves. My dealer says he has everything he needs except the L7374 Valves. Says he is being told by Kubota that the valves are on...
