I'm asking for my 70 yr old father in law. He's leaking hydraulic fluid from a seal on bottom of main transfer case approximately under seat area. My question is, besides the fill port in the pic I posted, is there another fill point or does this one at the rear of tractor fill the whole case?

    Bonehead Award of the year

If you don't know what this pic is, let me inform you. It is the CPU for the HST. And why does it have a hole in it? Because I intentionally drilled right through it. Well, sort of. I was in the process of installing LED lights on my 2555HST. I pulled the cap off dash in an attempt to...

    Hydraulic heat

I'm a boot to all this tractor business as well as hydraulic systems so forgive my ignorance. I've got 190 hours on my 2555HST. Is it normal for the hydraulic pieces to be too hot to touch after normal use? FEL lift arms, hoses, etc?

    2555HST Low rpm

While moving brush with grapple for about 30 mins, I attempted to raise rpm's. With lever all the way down to full throttle, it would not go past 1500. I turned off and restarted 3x. No change. I turned it off and waited approximately 30 mins, and started her up and all is well. I ensured...

    Water in fuel light

Is there a reset that anybody knows of? The light came on the dash, I removed the plug on bottom of water separator, turned the opening drain, drained all "water", (I think just diesel came out) put back together, and light on dash will not go off. 2555HST

What is this hole? 2015 2555HST

It's under tractor, approximately right in the middle. It is directly above the driveshaft that connects to front axle 4wd. There was a cover over driveshaft that I took off to see where fluid was draining from. No threads in hole. Appears to maybe had a rubber or plastic plug maybe.

    Reverse stopped working

2555HST, 150 hours. In the field now, don't have service manual. Was working on a stump with bucket. Reverse stopped working. Looked under tractor, saw small puddle of oily substance. Not a lot, maybe 3-5ozs. Can't see where it camp from right now due to skid plate, but it's centered...

    Water in tire (Part 2)

If I have the rear end jacked up (weight off wheels), the valve in the upper most position, and remove the valve and water comes out, does that mean the tire has water filled at least to the valve or higher or would the air pressure in the tire be forcing the water out? The reason I ask is, I...

    Ice in tires

I have straight water in my rear tires for ballast. I'm in Aiken, SC. We get a few freezing days a winter, but usually thaws out by mid-day. I see all the YouTube videos of people putting windshield washer fluid in for the -20 anti-freeze attribute. My question is, besides a big chunk of...
