If you have a scan tool that will clear codes on the ls, use that. If not, you may need to wait for it to clear on its own after x key starts. As far as I know, the cheaper scan tools may read codes, but can't clear them or communicate with the ecu otherwise.

How HOT is "hot"? Are the spindles seizing or will the blades free spin? belt/clutch squeal? bearing or other noises? weird vibrations? blade bolts tight/torqued? When working properly on first few passes, is it cutting a full swath or just the center section? (no belt driving outers)

Also, in addition to the ground, check the main 100Amp fuse off the + post for corrosion as well as the upstream 50Amp fuses. I was having intermittent starts due to that, & was only getting 5v to the fuse panel ... maybe the AC clutch is acting the same. manual is too big to post, but pm me...

In your leak4 pic. Maybe my eyes, but it looks like light is showing between the gutter and the fascia. If that gapping is happening along the length, that could be how you're getting water behind the fascia and into the soffit.

How much will the dam project cost? Have them escrow that cost to reimburse you for time and materials, then increase your offer by 1/4 - 1/2 that amount.

Fuel solenoid operating properly? Do you have an electric fuel pump on that model? is that working? Intake screen plugged in tank? Vent? Will it start if you loosen the fuel cap? If all that checks out, maybe try bleeding the lines again?

Before dropping the tank, check the electrical connection to the water sensor. That can throw a code if not connected or excess resistance is messing with the signal to the ecu.

you misunderstood ... when LS switched to to LS Mtron engine 31xx/41xx series the NH equivalents use the same pump specs supplied by LS.

To the OP: Does that have a mower/reverse safety switch? Is the tractor in neutral or a forward gear? (not just clutch depressed while in reverse) I had an old craftsman with one, but as I remember it could be bypassed intentionally if you wanted to mow in reverse.

If you're still cutting out with the clutch disconnected electrically, the problem is between the pto switch and the connector. so either a shorted wire/bad safety switch/ or bad pto switch. Get a wiring diagram & start tracing out the various legs & components.

To rule out the switch, you could use any cheap switch to replace & test.

My '16 4150 has no electric pump. The routing of the fuel sucks though & electric push might help since fuel exits tank at bottom, climbs to top of engine for fuel filter, then drops to the injector pump. I also find I have fewer fuel starve issues when Tank is full & lots more when about 1/4.

check battery cables hot & ground for corrosion. resistance could be undervolting ECU/crank sensor. There are posts about non responsive hand throttle here. fix seems to be replacing the hand throttle.

If you can find the right o-rings/washers yes rebuild. I'm seeing various pressure washer rebuild kits for 23 bucks and another 20 bucks for valves. You just need to see which kit works for you. Try filling the tank and see if it runs. Could be a bad pickup tube inside the tank

Pick up a cheap electric fuel pump and plumb it in between the primary filter and the injector pump. If that fixes the issue, you have your answer. To protect the injector pump, you may want a secondary filter after the electric pump in case it sheds parts after you've made it permanent.

Can you get a small (maybe flexhead) 1/4 inch ratchet & socket on the hose clamp? Maybe an extension & swivel adapter or "wobble" extension? (Can't see the path or all the angles) Is that a piece of neoprene or rubber fitted over a hard line on the return? If so, where's the second hose...

For Cables/Posts, I've taken to making my own from welding cable and closed end copper lugs with heat shrink. For Post clamps, either soft lead marine terminals or milspec terminals. You do need to invest in a decent hydraulic crimper to crimp the lugs to the cable. All available on amazon.

Why not use field fittings? The fittings themselves cost more than crimp fittings, but cheaper than buying a good crimper and cheaper fittings.
