Coming back from Oregon, near Shasta area.

This was my previous KV before I was upsizing. It was (?) the model MB3BN that you couldn’t replace the number 3 bottoms with OEM. this plow did work the L35 pretty good but no worse than my Case 2-16 or Oliver 2-18.

Just picked up the Kverneland plow a couple hours ago. Took it to the Carwash. That plow cleaned up very nicely.

Here’s my JD 1600 plow set up for 18” furrow. Can be adjusted for 14 & 16 as well. Spent a lot of time rebuilding it. My Case 5250 glides right along with it in hard pasture ground.

Heading up to Portland OR today to pick up a Kverneland MZ-9 2btm 16” plow.

This is my larger tractor and Kewanee 1100 17’ tandem flat fold.

I regretted selling my Strathmore 8’ tandem way back when after selling my Kubota L35. That L35 could pull that Strathmore with ease. To replace that disc will be 4 times the money now for new. Absolutely a great disc.

Yah, oops on using the term tandem. I’ve been looking for a tandem so much but was impressed with this offset that popped up. No other clearer pic found. I’ll try Google pic search when I get to the office today.

Thank you much, Oldtimer. That's a short little fellar, LOL, compared to my Case 5250. I do have the welded drawbar hitch bracket but believe the dimensions to be the same. You are a life saver.

Just full of knowledge aren’t you. Reread part of my first post below. ‘I’m using a drawbar from one of my parts tractors.’ Hence wanting to follow JD spec.

This was a really big old oak near Sacramento and in sad condition but nonetheless a beautiful tree come spring time. That root section probably left about a 4-5 foot deep hole.

Couldn’t get rid of my 32’ Diamond C GN fast enough. Then got me an H&H Speedloader 26 footer, 102”w, 17.5 SS, 16k full tilt. Sturdy, steady and an easy puller. Empty, my mpg barely changes. My truck can pull 20k by lower hitch with 2k on the tongue.

I think four bolts and an unplugging of two or three connectors below - right.

Hadn’t seen this post before. Could’ve helped. I think mine was an MF14?? Once you trip that handle and start rotating the rippers - get your hand out of the way. That handle will whiplash itself back into locking position. Great box scraper, though.

Earlier this year I stopped at a Kubota dealer just to look over different sized pins for a project. A bunch hanging on the rack with no price tags. Found an interesting pin with a three inch working length that I could modify. Took it to the counter for a price check. He just said 289. Darn...

I need to remove my ROPS and was wondering the actual weight of the entire unit. The book says 125 pounds. If so, I’m just going to have four of us guys lift it off. Experiences?

My Kubota L35 lights weren’t that great at all. So I used a couple of Klein flashlights for front and rear. A great soft light for 8+ hours on a single charge. And later not trip in the dark when walking back to the truck. Going strong for three years now.

Tough little machine.

I started at age 8 on our 460 utility gas. Then later remembering dad getting a 656 utility hydro gas, a real problem tractor. Traded that in after a year for a 656 utility diesel standard trans. Loved that machine. Still have it in the family.

I replaced 90+ bolts/nuts on my John Deere 1600 4-18 plow. Bruit force with a Milwaukie impact or Aircat cutoff saw at 14,000 rpm.

I just sold my 2002 Chevy 1500HD in 4x4 & 6.0L. Best darn truck I ever owned. 230,095 miles and it still ran & handled like new. Upsized to a 2019 Chevy 3500HD.

The problem while shopping for a new trailer, very few manufacturers will provide an empty weight in their online brochures. Frustrating.
