What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

Broke it for real. Tie rod tube for the front wheels. One tire was in really soft soil the other was on hard packed drive way. And when attempting to turn....BOINK!!! No more steering rod.

What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

Broke my tractor today. Well...not really. Broke a hydraulic fitting. Clearing out some small brush and dead trees for a horse shelter/ feed storage shed and somewhere in there I lost grapple controls. Looked things over and apparently had a trunk pull against the fittings in the center of the...

The 3-point top link hook makes an excellent holder for a funnel and tube to top off hydraulic fluid.

Finished a shooting berm several weeks ago...been burning through ammo like crazy. But this weekend I dropped the backhoe and used the disc to turn a small pasture and spread pasture grass. Then rolled over it with a home made roller I made from an old pressure tank. After that the grapple went...

What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

Put the new shooting berm into action today. Used the LS to get that plate rack in place. The rack has to weigh near 500 lbs. There is a concrete base on it that is 30" in diameter and near 4-ft. tall. Not sure what that amount of concrete would weigh. But then up top is a used road grader blade...

Took down one of several widow makers today. Hard to tell in the picture but it's the tree above the right side of the grapple. The LS and grapple safely removed it and all the debris. Wahoo!

Hope surgery goes as planned for her. I love them forks. Doing a bit of evening burn so I'll have coals in the morning to continue with. I like night time fire pictures.

What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

I used to work at a local power plant and we used the asphalt millings for the roads and pathways around there. We never used a sealer because in summer time, the millings pack in tight. We had a decent crown built in, but water always ran right off and the millings didn't wash away. Most of the...

What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

Phew! Dang. Four trips to the hardware store to get the right fittings and a longer hydraulic hose....and BAM! Im'ma grapplin'. I picked up 55 gallon barrels, large wooden spools, literally tons of tree brush, and one steel frame press. Oh and unloaded a rolling tool box for my buddy from his...

Bought the first stocking stuffer for the tractor. LoL. He will be happy not hearing me cuss when I have to drive back to the shed for a dang screwdriver.

What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

Saturday night at about 10 o'clock, decided to get some work done. Removed post hole auger, hooked up backhoe, and drug the last large stump out of the way of our shooting range build. I was able to pull it about 100-ft. before it buried itself. Got behind and pushed it another 50-yds to a...

Drug this ginormous stump out to rebuild the shooting range. It took one 40-hp LS tractor and one 1998 Dodge Cummins to get it up to flat ground and the truck took it to the burn pit.

Decided to take out a stump I left from the other day. Took this pic from about 75-yds. away with my cell phone. The green at the bottom is a backdoor light casting on the grass. Those lights are awesome.

I want to hear more about that backhoe thumb. Looks heavy duty in the picture. Here's mine unloading large panels.

Purchased some large shipping containers that were broken down. Dimensions are 21' x 8', built with 2x6's and covered with 3/4" exterior plywood. Should be a decent start to a loafing shed for Mr. Fizz, the horse. Unloading from my trailer in the picture.

Rigid Industries 60 degree diffused lights in action at 10pm. It's daylight within 60-ft. of the tractor!!! And useable light for tractor speed well beyond that.

Harsh PTO engagement on new XG 3140H

The PTO seems to engage very harsh with that electric PTO switch on the dash. This is the first tractor I've ever had an electric PTO on. I'm used to letting out a clutch to spin up an implement. But I sure feel like something will break eventually. Is there a soft start method with these...

Added two lights to the roll over bar. Rigid brand, 60 degree diffused lights. They are awesome. The pictures, of course, don't represent how much light they put out. Here are before, after, and backhoe area.
