I have a Ford/New Holland 5610S, recently changed trans hydraulic fluid and filter. Filled the reservoir back up with 15 gallons as it calls for 16.3 gallons. However, the fluid is showing 3/4" over the full mark. I noticed a small arrow looking mark as seen in the attached photo about 1" above...

Man I had no idea. I have seen that knob but was unsure what it was for. I did know the knobs above the couplers was to adjust the flow but didn't know about the Master Speed Control knob.

I don't know how I found it but, I just clicked on another post somewhere that sent me to a new holland website with filter and lube chart. It states the rear axle and transmission includes the tractor hydraulics and it takes 16.3 gallons. So when I drain that, I am essentially draining the rear...

That is something I am not sure about either. Had a neighbor tell me that it is the same as the transmission fluid but I really don't know if that is accurate.
