I was checking under tractor and discovered this "clip?" hanging. It moves around so is attached to something.... It obviously has been there this whole time as it is painted, but it is just hanging there and totally lose. I have dealer manuals on engine, tranny, etc etc but I cant find...

Does anyone have a NAPA cross reference for the oil filter on a XR3140H?

Anyone know a good source for the Zerk fittings on LS tractors? Dealer is slow to respond on this. I've heard they are an off Japanese thread. Already had responses that Amazon has packs of Zerks but these are a close US or British thread. Usually followed by comment "close enough". Really...

XR3140HC my 50 hour was same as other posts and did lose a lot of hydro fluid. Mine doesn't have anything obstructing the oil filter but the frame is close so a tight fit but doable getting filter on and off. I used the channel lock oil filter wrenches on mine and went smoothly.

I have a mount in the cab for a rear view mirror and have been told a New Holland mirror will work on the mount. Anyone know for sure a part number either LS or New Holland for the mirror? Thanks,

Silly question I guess. I notice that when I check the engine oil before cranking the dip stick always shows over the full mark on one side and between low and full on other side. The between reading is correct as after oil change I know what I have in it. Just curious if this common.

How in the heck do you get to the HST filter on the XR3140H or XR3135H? Coming up on 50 hour and rolled under best I could reach with filter pliers and what a pain. Anyone have suggestions to get to the filter to get it off? Thinking building a ramp out of 2X12s to get a little ground...

I have a XR3140H coming up on 50 hr and the manual says to grease front axle nipple "the appropriate amount". Curious what the appropriate amount is :)

I have a XR3140HC and trying to get it out of 4 wheel into 2 wheel drive. Manual says depress clutch and push down on the selector on the floor for 2 wheel / 4 wheel. Well I have hydrostatic so no clutch and the lever wont push down at all to select 2 wheel drive, dont want to force anything...

Only have 13 hours so far and moved snow twice.....so far everything I was looking for :)
