Got the piston out of the worst cylinder compression wise. It had 240PSI. The manual says 495. The top ring is broken and the second compression ring has little spring to it.

Sorry for the late reply. The bad injector was in the better cylinder (360psi). Any thoughts on using an engine flush and then changing the oil again? I put 5-30 synthetic in it after the oil change.

So, I went back outside and acutally squirted a decent amount of oil in the engine. The compression went up a good 20 PSI. So, it seems clear that the issue must be rings/pistons.

The manual says to use hydraulic fluid. But, the cap says 80W. I admit I changed mine and put hydraulic fluid in. Kinda thin but I am convinced the old oil is hydraulic fluid. No distinctive smell and thinner. So, what gives?
