What have you done to your Branson today?

Removed the battery on my 2400H ‘cause that sucker is deader than true love!!! Looking for an affordable replacement…what’s everyone else running in their little Bransons? TXCOMT

    Temperature gauge pegs out

Oh, I wouldn’t call them features! I understand the basic engineering rationale, but it’s still a pain to clean the screen and rad, period. I especially applaud the thin metal tabs used to hold the overflow hose to the rad support…sheer genius. TXCOMT

    Temperature gauge pegs out

Man, I’m glad I’m not the only one this bothers…on my 2400H, the battery and the oil cooler sit in front of the screen and rad. Plus, the air intake tube is “smushed” at the top of the rad so it can fit between the latter and the hood. These design engineers must’ve gone to the same schools as...

    Bucket slowly sinks while mowing

Good info, sallyb! My tractor didn’t do this before the service so it may need what a previous poster mentioned, some penetrating oil and grease. Can’t imagine a rebuild is required at this point in its life. TXCOMT

    Broken Belt Loops

Heck, if you have a cab, why ya wearin pants in the first place? Swim trunks would be my first choice! Seriously, though, I’d just untuck my shirt. TXCOMT

Good to hear…glad I’m not the only one who forgets to release his parking brake!!! I’m surprised the thing still works. TXCOMT

Good idea…I’ll static measure it later today and go from there! TXCOMT

    Bucket slowly sinks while mowing

Sorry for the lack of details … the entire loader sinks; the bucket will stay in whatever position I’ve left it. It functions and follows all joystick input, but I just don’t remember seeing it gradually lower on its one like this before now! TXCOMT

    Bucket slowly sinks while mowing

Hmm…it only has 135 hours on it. Think that’s all it takes to wear ‘em out? My tractor has spent most of that time just cutting, not lifting. TXCOMT

    Bucket slowly sinks while mowing

Well, after getting Lil Red, my 2400H, back from the local Branson dealership for some warranty work and an oil change, I noticed the bucket gradually lowers as I’m cutting grass on my property. I’ve noticed no leaks on the barn’s concrete floor where it rests, so I’m at a loss…any ideas? TXCOMT

    First leak from my 2400H...help!

I don’t see one but maybe they changed it to a steel tube? TXCOMT

    First leak from my 2400H...help!

Never mind...found out this will be covered by Branson’s warranty, so off to the dealer it goes! TXCOMT

    First leak from my 2400H...help!

Evening from North Texas! I found a puddle of thick green fluid under my front axle the other day...after further inspection this afternoon, it seems like it’s coming from where the driveshaft meets the front axle. Is this something I can fix or does it need a lift to the nearest shop? TXCOMT

    Kukje turbos

Hey from Texas! Just wondering if the turbo'd Kukjes are just as advantageous to own as non-turbo models. I'm thinking about upgrading my '00 model for a fairly new and low-time '15 and I'm assuming the A1700T2 will run and start just like its NA stablemates. I'd also like to hear from any...

When did Branson update the cabs?

Just wondering what years to look at for the cab redesign...was it 2017 and later? I致e read the latest generation was much better to work in, but I wasn稚 sure when it was changed. TXCOMT

    PN for 2400H brush guard?

Ended up having a local guy weld the bars and another powder coat it...what do y’all think? Lil’ Red looks mostly complete; up next, a homemade canopy! TXCOMT

    Fuel shutoff solenoid ideas?

So I believe my 2016 2400H, with only 84.1 hours, is dead because of a failed fuel shutoff solenoid...what's the cheapest way to replace it? I thought I've several here have said the factory item is expensive, but I don't recall seeing a more affordable substitute. Any suggestions? This tractor...

    My RC shaft....

...keeps popping off my PTO shaft! I've got a Branson 2400H and a Big Bee 48" RC and this happens at least once during a day's mowing. The collar is definitely locked down when I start in the morning and I keep both the shaft and inside of the collar well lubed. The Bee isn't but a few years old...

    TODAYS SEAT TIME

Well, after a few months of reading this site and another month of waiting to get my slightly used Branson 24000H, I can finally post to this thread! I spent about 4 hours Saturday bush hogging our new property and everything went pretty well. It was the first time I've ever run a tractor and...

    Small bridge ideas?

I've got a small creek that cuts off a corner of my property and would like to bridge it; the distance between banks is probably 15 feet, the land is mostly sandy loam (it's west of Weatherford, Texas) and the banks are level to each other. Depth is probably six to 10 feet (only a foot or two...

    PN for 2400H brush guard?

Just put a deposit down for one of these tractors and noticed there's no brush guard like you see in some of the company pics...my salesman doesn't know the PN, so I wondered if anyone here might be able to help? I'd fab one myself but I don't know how to weld...yet! Thanks, TXCOMT
