i have a 1944 ford 2 n my issue is cant get into gear Just grinds Tried adjusting no sucess..it also has a sherman trans .. I did notice leaver coming trans that clutch rod connects.. U can only move leaver 1 to 2 inches Any idea guys...is it struck or shot...btw im 80 yrs old...not lookng...

Pump works pumps out test port oil was new yesterday

Im in a mess..3 pt wont lift so lifted top off...replaced piston and seals and pin that was worn then tried to addjust as per video.but when i bring arms up to botton of spring there no way i can adjust..prob 2 inches free play BUT if i lift arms up above spring..i can adjust 3/16 and 1/4 as per...

They say there is teflon thats way better.. im unable to find them..yes i soaked it...but cut them trying force in cylinder

Im looking for teflon seal for lift cylnder..1954 forn naa..pistion is 2.5 inche dia i cant where to buy tefon or neoprene..i wrecked 2 leather ones...any assist where to purchase

Well got axle out ring gear got couple chips..branson say two diff ring gears..one with dowl pin one without...they dont seem to know which one i have. so going tear down axle..and determine..one i will need new diff..other i dont....tractor be death of me Thank u

I got axle out on bench parts be here monday.is there any gaskets or seals i need to buy to replace ting gear...thank u again for assistance.

Omg it goes from bad to worse lol got pinion out..now chipped ring gear...i got new pinion and ring gear on way..anyone know if big job to change ring gear...by a old 80 yr old farmer..thanks u guys for help.chip on ring gear not bad wonder get by not changing it

Thank u so much. I remove whole axle and was able to remove pinion..it appears bad shape..my question is branson wants sell Pinion and ring gear as a set..is there anywhere i can just purchase a new pinion that u are aware of....thank u

I got bearing off but appears pinion is off ring gear...any idea how get it back on....lol im a pain im 80 but do my best ty ty

Yes i try to get race out..im waiting on new bearing and seal..i do notice pinion shat not level..plus wheels dont turn when i turn pinion shaft..u think there another issue...ty

Do u think pounding at front c clip might brake and allowing shaft removal

Think i got bearing out but i dont see no c clip to get shaft out..less still part bearing left in..i had to split bearing to get out..lol i might be over my head

I also took 3 bolts off pinion at front of tractor

Im confused where to pound on shaft...from front of tractor or rear...im sorry.

Think ur saying hit pinion from front...and snap ring might break...i cant get to snap ring from front it blocked by seized bearing

Ot sure im in correct section..but need replace front axle Drive shaft seal....its leaking into the Tube..Question does front axle need to be removed to replace Oil Seal

i'm new i have mis 160d changed trans oil had to destroy filter strainer to get out. question at is there metal cap both ends of filter when got it out don't see metal cap at inside worried still inside of trans filter is 1.25 by 6 inches. hard to find..next question ok to use with out filter...
