Within 5 years of ownership, my Mahindra has never had this problem. The RPM’s do need to be @ 1500-2000 depending on activity, and is designed to operate safely in that zone. Less down-time dealing with complicated emissions controls.
Not all manufacturers use DPF. Mahindra, as an example, uses MCRD technology, but does use an EGR instead. This goes all the way up to 75 hp on all their tractors. Their tech is less problematic when repair/replacements is necessary.
I own a 2019 Mahindra Max-24…., similar to your reference. Your referenced model was designed to be lighter (ladder frame vs tractor frame) along with other components. The belly mower on mine weighs 400lbs, while the 1100 is 200lbs, so greater caution needs to be used to avoid damage.

With the exception of my compact tractor, all my yard equipment is Echo. Other than collectors, I think many will choose their favorite manufacturer if they're happy with their first purchase. I do believe the STIHL owners are the most dedicated.
And yet, it has a 5 year warranty and is plenty capable for my large Burr Oakes. Not the fastest, not the lightest, but a fine saw for me. Expensive I’ll grant you, but I'm happy with it. BTW, the oiler has no issues with a 32” Bar.
The ‘Cry Once’ analogy along with dependability are the most important for me. I own an Echo 7310 with a 28” blade and an Echo 4910 with an 18” blade. Both can easily swing larger blades. The 5-year warranty is the best in the industry and they are easy to start, maintain, and run.
Like you, my garage is heated and tractor gets loaded with snow. I always use my Echo PB9010H which easily removes 99% of it, and using soft brush along with blower does it all.
I’ve had my Mahindra Max-24 for 5 years since new, and only put on 60 hours a year. Used mostly for Wisconsin snow removal and various projects around our home/property. Not much, but a life saver when needed.
I am also curious about using ACF-50 for general use. Although they state that it isn’t harmful on rubber surfaces, I’m a bit concerned about overspray on rubber hydraulic lines and/or seepage/infiltration into gaskets/o-rings.
Anyone have experience with this product in regards to my...
I also had that plate come loose and the bolts were lost. While I didn’t have your problem, my plate wasn’t as offset as yours. This plate anchors the low/high group gear position on my Mahindra Max24. If it were more out of alignment, that handle wouldn’t move either. The attached photo was a...
Many of us are transplants. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, serving 10 years in the military and 25 in law enforcement, retiring in 2005.
As all grandkids were adults, we chose a move to Eau Claire Wisconsin in 2015 for our new grandkids. We love the area, people, and lower...
We ‘elders’ have lived through lead based paint, no seatbelts, coal burners, no emissions standards, and yes, many of us are sick, dying or have passed away. You are fortunate to have greater protections and awareness then we had.
Many changes have been beneficial regardless of the political or...
Thanks! … BTW, my tractor without implements or attachments weighs a little over 1700 pounds and my loader weighs 550 lbs, with a lifting capacity of 900 lbs.
Unfortunately not. Aside from all warning labels, the frame mounted metal plate only gives model and serial#. No plate info regarding front axle. I checked the axle itself also.
Anyone know what the front axel’s maximum load (weight) is on a Mahindra Max 24 with loader?
This info isn’t printed and neither the dealer nor Mahindra USA will provide it.
Senseless comment. Everyone has opinions on tractor manufactures, but unless you have facts based on evidence regarding systemic failures, it remains just an opinion.
By the way, many Mahindra’s built since their inception are still running well in 3rd world nations.
I have owned my Mahindra for 5 years now and have not had any problems with the tractor at all. I have experienced a couple of issues with non-Mahindra attachments.
I only write this as Mahindra seems under represented and most people hear from owners who are experiencing problems than those...
I have been using those edge tamers for 6 years now on my FEL for rural snow removal. We live in Wisconsin and get quite a bit of snow, and my Mahindra Max-24 surprisingly handles this well.
My base 4WD tractor weighs 1750 pounds, and configured with loader and belly mower weighs roughly 2700 pounds. The max lifting weight of the loader is 900 pounds.
I am having a few trees felled and having the rounds cut into 4 foot lengths. This comes to 600 pounds per round that needs to be...
I already have, and they stated I needed to work with my dealer directly, as each is an independent operator. I love my Max-24, but am thinking of trading it in for a new Kioti. Sadly, dealerships can turn a favorite tractor into a liability. Unless things change, I may need to shop local...
Actually I already have the size, thread and length info. As it’s still under warranty (7-year), I’d rather replace with the correct ones, especially considering their reluctance to work with me. Otherwise I would have done as you’ve suggested. :)
Mahindra Max-24
This seems a silly question, but I am missing 2 bolts that hold down what appears to be a spring-tensioned-band, located underneath the seat pan cover plate, and behind and above the rear PTO assembly. The band when unbolted sits at a 45-degree angle and requires a bit of...

There are similar winches that have speed selections and brake locks, but not this one. I have reeled this one out and back, which did not take long at all. The selector allows three options:
1) Crank out
2) Crank in
3) Neutral position (unlocked). I like this one as I can quickly walk the pawl...
I had really wanted a DC winch on my tractor but given the small size of the battery and equally underpowered alternator, those options were out. Buying a DC generator would work, but was just too much $$$, and didn't want a train of components. I also didn't want to buy 2000 feet of electrical...
Ok, found something interesting. With the front bracket removed, I get full movement of the left rear MMM bracket and only half on the right rear MMM bracket.
The 3PH has its MMM attach point on the left rear side only, that moves a shaft, supplying lift to both rear brackets.
This shaft is...
My Americorp MMM should be identical with your XL, albeit mine is a 60” and yours is a 72”.
The brackets on mine are attached in the same way as yours, The MMM being supported by those brackets laterally, and the nose bracket from the forward hook brackets to the front frame of the tractor in...
So, the round height knob will only allow full travel (Setup to 3.5”) when there is no weight on the support arms of the MMM. I removed the MMM (knob now had full motion), I set the knob to 2” and reattached the MMM. No difference in operation. The knob seemingly is not the problem. The MMM...
I have tried all positions. It operates as though it is set in the 3.5/4 holes, and changes make no difference.
Looking at the back of the pin dial (seat forward) I can see the cascading positions working, with exception to the 4”. This one appears blocked.
Edit:
The hight adjustment wheel...
I own a Mahindra Max 24, and am having midmount mower deck hydraulic lift issues.
I have both removed and attached the MMM many times throughout the years without issue, but this springtime attachment has me puzzled.
The MMM shares the same link functionality with the rear 3PH, and is supposed...
So, the 1025r bucket holds 6 CF of material, meaning the max weight of material lifted would then be:
Gravel = 750 Lbs Dry
Sand = 600 Lbs Wet
Dirt = 480 Lbs Dry
I have the same bucket size on my Mahindra Max-24, and tractor+ Loader weight is 2300 lbs. My loader is capable of lifting 900...
My opinion when writing the above was based on a poor design for servicing the gearbox. Once engaged in performing the service, it was much easier in retrospect.
Americorp/Mahindra 60” Belly Mowing Deck.
Having serviced the gearbox of my MMM, the steps as outlined in the manual is far too granular and unnecessary. The pulley on the gearbox doesn’t need to be removed. The casing doesn’t need to be separated either.
There are two inset Allen screws on...
Assuming that your MMM worked fine before installing the new blades, what if anything have you disassembled/reassembled beyond the bolts and blades?
Can you now freely move the blades by hand, ensuring free travel?
Assuming the above has been checked, verify that your drive belts are correctly...
Just removed the gearbox to my MMM to replace the fluid. Not very easy or accessible. I am also trying to get the mulch blades for the Mahindra/Americorp deck.
Old Thread, but I have had great success with the bucket mounted hitch, and moving easily 3500-4000 lb trailer with 300-400 tongue weight, up and down an incline. I purchased the one found on Amazon...
I realize these threads are a couple of years old, but I wanted to hear/see the directions for removing the gearbox. I have the same MMM on my Mahindra Max 24, along with the manual, which by the way does not show how to remove it, step by step. If anyone still needs the manual on this, I'd...
Check out PimEyes: Face Recognition Search Engine and Reverse Image Search |
This is a facial search engine. You upload a pic and it find lookalikes. I did so and 1 of the many is a fairly decent likeness. Unfortunately, to get info on the shown faces requires a paid membership. Just FYI
Yep, often. My little Mahindra Max 24 has no kit that will work like the greens and blues, so I made my own. Using a 1/4" round steel threaded rod (from Menards), I cut and bracketed one on the back of the loader (see pics) and one on the upper hydraulic operating arm (see pics), adjustments...
I have never had a great experience with battery-operated garden tools. Contaminates entering so-called sealed areas, temperature-related problems, recharge cycle issues, and so forth. My preference is always gasoline-operated garden tools. In reference to your husky, I would get a good carb...
Operating my Max-24 while mowing lowers my rear PTO hitch to within a few inches from the grass. Going from a flat surface to an incline becomes interesting. Both mid and rear PTO vertical adjustments are tethered to the same handle and hydraulic feed.
Is there a kit available that can separate...
Interesting that the Max24 and Max26 has the exact same motor (Mits S3L2), same displacement (80.4 CI), same compression ratio (22.1), and yet the Max24 has 24.4 hp at 2500 rpm while the Max26 has 25.6 hp at 2600 rpm.
Is the 24 detuned or is the 26 governed at a higher rpm and gaining the extra...

Is the 24 detuned or is the 26 governed at a higher rpm and gaining the extra 1 hp?
I was searching for a bracket that looked more professional than the hose clamp or square u-bolt approach. I found a couple nice aluminum billet choices that were $40+ per bracket. I finally found a similar one for $14.39 each. They looked great, and I'm patiently awaiting their arrival...
While I'm only 6' foot tall and skinny, I find my left knee constantly contacting the light switch which usually turns off the lights or activates the turn signals. I suppose I could drill new holes in the seating plate so that the seat goes back a bit farther, or relocating the entire lighting...
