    Branson 2510H is home now.

it's officially dirty and used now. Has 4.8 on the clock. The day was not without some obstacles. One of the pins that holds the right 3pt arm to the tractor fell off somehow and the 3pt arm came loose. A trip to TSC solved that problem and I bought a bunch of extras as well as a clevis hook...

    Branson 2510H is home now.

I picked up the tractor yesterday and brought it to the house. This morning I removed the mid mount mower and some of the hardware underneath because I won't need to use it for quite a while. The mid mower is in the garage at home for now. I also installed the Piranha tooth bar that I ordered...

    Good morning!!!!

$40 would be a no brainer for me if it's not beat up. I don't know how you could beat one up though unless you're a gorilla.

    Good morning!!!!

I'm not trying to sell you on anything. You said it wasn't as well built, I disagree and the reviews disagree. Price and quality don't go hand in hand, perceived value and actual value don't go hand in hand either. Redneck needs to go look at them and decide for himself. I presented a cheaper...

    Good morning!!!!

I have an ironman inversion table it's very solid. I never go inverted longer than a few minutes. Once you learn to relax your spine will release like a zipper and there is no need to stay on it any longer.

    Good morning!!!!

I hang around like a bat a couple times a week. Once you learn to relax and really let it work, it is near life changing.

    Good morning!!!!

30 and freezing fog, expecting 40 later. I have an eye appointment and that's about it. So I'll probably make inappropriate comments on internet forums or something useless like that.

    Good morning!!!!

Wuhan is a strange place. Huge city, supposedly a lot of people living there but the times I have been there it seemed pretty sparsely occupied. So I don't know where the 11M people are.

    Shouse Build

Here, you can laugh at my LEGO house. The garage is half so 2000 sq feet, then another 2000 sq feet is the house. 3 bed, 2 bath, great room. 10 foot ceilings over the house. 12 foot over the garage. Garage has an office built in to the corner for me to escape from time to time. 2 cars, a boat...

    Shouse Build

This will be a long process, probably 2-2.5 years if you all want to follow along. I'll preface with saying that I'm not someone that has worked in the trades, I'm not someone who grew up on a farm, operated equipment or anything like that. My wife does have experience in working in the trades...

    2510 Toothbar.

The piranha tooth bar seems to be the one of choice. I noticed these buckets are pre drilled for a cutting edge. Are there any good toothbars that would match up with the factory holes? also do I need a cutting edge to even mount the piranha bar?

    Earth work

Hillbilly perc test completed to satisfy my own curiosity. It drains pretty good, between 4 and 7 inches per hour. I did some looking at the local regs for septic, you can install your own system but the county has to certify you, which may or may not involve testing. So this is probably best...

    Sumac control

So I bought some acreage and have several large areas of woody type trees, shrubs, weeds, whatever you want to call them. After a few hours of digging around the interwebs I am 90% sure what they are is Sumac. It's winter so they are bare except for the blossoms are dried out and still on most...

    Pulling the trigger

Well, I looked at them and a few other brands today. Nothing really changed my mind about things. I do think that Kubota makes a really nice machine that is very refined, and has some nice features. I don't think it's worth $4K more though. So I'll be ordering the 2510H in the next couple days...

Besides weight and some lift, what are the differences between the models? I've looked at the website and brochures but want to hear from you guys on the differences. Also what the benefit of one over the other would be. What about shortcomings? I think I understand the advantages of weight and...

    Earth work

Just a few pics of what I have to tangle with. It's relatively flat for the most part. Ground is strip mine spoils, 2 inches top soil then some clay and aggregates, nothing super hard or large to deal with. The back border of the property is an old strip pit. It's 30-40 feet deep, was mined back...

When I buy, what to look for.

Since it's going to be my first purchase of this type. I'm wondering what the gotcha things are and what to make sure is included with my purchase. I'll be purchasing tractor, loader, box blade, rotary cutter and trailer. Whether it be a package or whatever. What are those things that are...

    Earth work

Since I am leaning towards buying Branson, I will ask you folks. If I buy a larger tractor, I need to justify the purchase by being able to do some earth moving with it, without tearing up. I need to level a 56x100 area to build a house, and there is probably about a foot or two at most of...

Buying Advice Tractor I need vs tractor I want.

After I bush hogged it a couple weeks ago. It's not too hilly and not all of this will be yard. Just to that first tree line really.

    Sell me on Branson

Branson is on my short list of tractors to purchase. I'm aware of the potential dealer problems. Don't care that it's Korean. Most likely going to be a 2400 or 2510. That may change and if I go bigger that only helps the case for Branson because their real value is in the 35+HP tractors...

Buying Advice  Tractor I need vs tractor I want.

Yeah, its another one of those posts. I'm a tractor virgin and recently purchased some land. 10.3 AC of thistles, cedar, some sort of natural razor wire and groves of saplings of assorted flavors and spikyness. The plan is to clear some of the nasty brush (I rented and got some of that done...
