I found the 50 hour service on the H24 to be challenging too... I have a video but still need to update and post it. Agree, oil filter took a little effort for sure as did refilling the front axle which would be much easier with a grease pump like used on a lower unit of an outboard motor.

If i recall mine was pushed all the way forward and after some jiggling it freed up... I'd say give it hell and if it breaks its under warranty... ;-) I'll go to bat for you if needed as mine was ceased up as well. let me know if you get it moving...

I've not found it to be an issue for me and tend to leave the safety items in place unless there is a compelling reason to override. Too many hills and close calls for me in my 10 years of operating experience to think I know better.

Agree with @5030... my solis seat was a little stuck as well and upon doing some wiggling mine actually started moving and there was plenty of grease... Shouldn't be a shipping bolt however.

So it is my understanding that the Solis electric tractor has the same PTO output as the H26 diesel engine, so I believe it is 18.9 HP.

@EddieWalker you can charge the Solis with either 110 or 220... There are rapid chargers for vehicles but i don't know what difference is required in terms of the outlet requirements.

I agree with you and think that we are a long ways from having electric tractors that can do what diesel tractors can do, but I'm not so sure it's a "fad" per say, maybe just very early in the product lifecycle... It's amazing the technological advances that have been made in just the last...

Well hopefully they can get the price point down so the 38 and 48 can launch early in 2024! Current pricing is putting them on par with the expensive well known brands...

It's about the engines... ITL/Solis will be producing it's own engines. Currently the H24 has a Mitsubishi engine, the 38 & 48HPs will have Yanmar engines but the price is high so it is not as competitive, and the larger machines will have the ITL engine, which is what is under EPA approvals...

interesting analogies and I suppose if you say, hey in the off time the people that make Bose headphones make a direct duplicate knock-off and charge 1/2 price... But neither of these tractors are knockoffs... What you are actually describing here is a value sale... I've worked in the software...

Solis has been in the US for about 7-8 years, but Yanmar was rebranding their tractors as Solis... Now Solis is selling via dealerships and Summit, also made by ITL, is going the route of the retail channel with e-commerce mixed in. Will be interesting to see how this things shake out.

They are both produced by ITL (International Tractors Limited)... Solis is in 150 countries, Summit is brand new... So similar yes, but equipped differently and going to market via different sales channels.

Depends where you live. In my county there is no requirement for graded lumber and no building inspections other than plumbing. In the city you’d likely be able to get away with it for a shed or shed that isn’t being inspected.
