I know, I was giving some feedback on a basic Golf cat top as an option for a canopy to save $$$ from a flimsy cheap plastic canopy. If I wasn't going to do the lights and stereo, I'd do a golf cart top again with the bed liner. Looks great and it's a great cheap option

This canopy is def not flimsy. Even if you just took a golf top cover and through it up there, it will last forever. Very thick UV plastic. You could easily make it cheap and quick. Aluminum supports and brackets. Add a few lights and done under $150. -200 depending on metal and misc wiring.

Yeah I was going to go to Joann's fabric and get some thinking spandex to soak down but had that outdoor carpet left over. It actually was better because it soaked up a lot of fiberglass resin. It's hard as a rock. Didn't even need to add the fiberglass sheets tbh

Yeah I couldn't find a top that wasn't new and $500+ and shipping costs, so I figured this would be a fun project. The lights and radio will be nice to have as well, so not too crazy with the customization

Alright alright alllllright... It's fiberglassed and now to sand it and sand it and sand it then Bondo and more sanding then bedliner spraying it. Depending on cost, I may have it line-x to add extra strength

Haha! It's been fiberglassed and I need to do another coat before I Bondo it and paint. Work has been non stop, spilling over to the weekends. (Out of the dining room!)

Spray foam will also make that building strong as steel.

I had my property mulched so we could safely cut the big pines etc and drop them. Then I've been on my tractor stacking and burning. If I ever change professions, it'd be buying a huge forestry mulcher

That sounds about right. I was on the trail and using a crescent wrench. So I would guess around that. Going to AutoZone or advanced when they open and see if they have a few different sizes and buy them and return those that don't work. I'm hoping it's not the hose too.

Noticed my hydraulics were leaking. Couldn't figure it out as to why and noticed the fitting had some pitting and scratching on it. Does anyone know the size of this fitting? Hoping to get it fixed by tomorrow morning and finish up some take before it pours for a week straight

[ ] Not going to lie... This thing is the bomb. The fan is crazy powerful and the stereo is loud AF. Lights are super bright and I have them each on their own rocker switch to keep voltage low. Next step is fiberglass then paint and reconnect and test, then mount. Got a lot done today...
