Ok. Then assuming someone didn’t switch the sleeves up in the past, the groove should go up. I saw the fast dump option on your diagram. Free everything up and you should be good. There’s not much in there to wear out, just crude up.

Those are a little gummed up. Break all that free and it should work better. I think the step would go down so it holds the lever at its farthest throw point. Same with the fast dump detent. Does the needle move freely inside the bearing holder and spring? Good pictures.

Yours has the same transmission as mine and Skipmarcy. They changed to the "New Metal" one after ours where made. That linkage has to do with the Draft Control. Here is a pic of mine. As a rule that lever should always be forward. Just use the right lever to raise and lower.

No power at alternator means it's not charging. Most auto shops can verify on a bench, but pretty sure the new one is bad.

Merrill, did you try to order the loader brackets or get any made? If you have any pictures of the work you did I'd be interested to see them.

If possible, check for voltage at the switches and solenoid and that the solenoid is grounded still. It's probably an electrical issue.

With work like that I can see why you have a skid plate on your tractor. Can you fab a shield to protect that line? I always think of the power company tractors they use for cutting the transmission tower right-of-ways around here. They are caged up completely to keep stuff from breaking...

The fuel pump is on the right rear-ish. I assume noise varies with the RPM? Do you have an Engine stethoscope? Or if your me, a rubber hose and big nail.

Welcome Keith! More information would be helpful. Does it make any noise when you put it in gear or let the clutch out? Does it clunk when you move it into forward or reverse? Are you sure that the range or gear selector didn't slip out of gear?

What did they want for that housing? You might be able to put in an order for those brackets too since your waiting anyway.

I have not been able to find any new or used yet. I don’t think it’s going to be too hard to get a fab shop to make a couple plates that will welded to the bottom bar of the subframe. I created another thread about this also.

It would be like a rubber plug. They don’t always remove them when they leave the lot.

There may be a drain hole on the bottom of the front trans case with a plug in it. Or an inspection plate on the side that will allow you to at least peek in.

How long has it been losing it? Just a stretch, and I don't know if it's possible on that machine, but I've read of the trans front seal leaking and it filling up the void where the clutch plates are. If the trans cases are sealed together they could hold a good bit.

I decided to run TSC UTF since it meets the needed ratings and is locally available. Front axle oil is another personal choice. It comes with Trans Fluid, but gear oil works also.

There may be a sticker behind the seat that will tell the capacities for that specific tractor. The manual says 23.2 US quarts and 19.4 Imperial quarts. So 24 is probably the correct number. As for the type of fluid, that's a personal choice as long as it's a reputable oil.

Could be many things, but sounds like a bad connection at the frame ground or battery post. Clean all those good and see if it continues.

When you say "Gauge Blinking" do you mean a light is going on and off or the needle itself jumps up and down?

Could always dump a bottle of Green Slime tire sealant in it after plugging the holes.

That's just an overly complicated connection. You can cut it out and crimp an eye on that instead.

Your right about the connector being just a wire. If it has a fusible link in the connector it would look like the picture. My diagram says "Fuse" . but it's actually a fusible link in the middle of the connector.

The diagram for my tractor shows a fuse too, but it is actually a fusible link in the wire.

Do you have a picture of it. On my 3510 that is a 50a fusible link for the glow plugs.

It's located on the right side behind the heel of your foot.

I’ve double plugs holes before. Use the red super sticky plugs. If it held with one plug for a while it might work.

Lots of good and cheap options. I use an upside down wooden pallet with a couple concrete blocks on it. Cuts the high spots and holds the dirt/gravel till it crosses a low spot.
