Thanks to @dlctcg !!! My DX34 had weird starter issues and by jumpering from positive terminal to starter, she started like charm. The starter cable is 160 bucks so I may see what my options are to create my own cable from the battery to the starter.

Found the issue - had to crawl under and find the wires hooked to the PTO Lever linkage. The connection had come loose.

I went to start my 2007 DX34 yesterday and as soon as I turn the switch, the warning beeper sounds and my PTO engaged yellow light is on. Everything else - seat switch, gear setting, parking brake are all set and connections are good. I assume this means my PTO sensor switch is bad somewhere...
