I have a 1301d that I am a bit disappointed in. It seems too small to scoop up dirt/gravel. I am looking at a 226d 4x4 that I am hoping will serve this task better as well as field mowing and tilling. I would appreciate any feedback as well as things to look out for. Thanks!

How do I check the fluid level? The fill cap on the axle has a 6L sticker on it, is that volume? It seems like a lot. There is no dipstick I can find and would I use gear lube or hydraulic oil? A thin clear oil is leaking from the front hub that seems to he hydraulic oil, not gear lube. Thanks...

Thanks! thanks for the info, I had already found those exploded diagrams, that’s why im thinking one or more of the gears may have lost a tooth. I’ll find out once I take it apart and see what else needs to be rebuilt. It does have the ID plate, I’ll take a look this week and report back
