Not sure if mentioned. But ANY Hitachi/Metabo NR83 framing nailers. I have a couple of the old ones we've had for 20+ years and rebuilt a couple times. Amazing nailers. I picked up the new NR83A5 and love it, trigger is different but it's works well for me.

Thank you all for the suggested and comments. Here's the result: -Injectors were checked (not by me) -Glow plugs were checked -Valve cover removed and inspected. -Oil changed Reassembly, torqued cover to proper spec which solved the decompression lever issue. Finding nothing else wrong...

I'm curious if this could be caused by either injection pump timing (although this seems unlikely because nothing was changed there) or perhaps valve lash issues? I'm assuming the extra fuel at high load is causing an incomplete combustion situation. Though I don't know the remedy or diagnosis...

Okay. Replaced oil and filter, cleared up a lot of the exhaust (I'm guessing it was slightly over filled) except at high load ~2800-3000 rpm. Still blows smoke. Coolant and oil look fine, with no discernable contamination.

Makes sense. I will change that oil this afternoon, hopefully the 30 minutes of idle we have done hasn't caused any damage.

It has not. Oil was drained off to proper level. I did not think of that as a possibility.

Exhaust smoke at high idle. I topped up coolant and I'm letting it idle while I drink tea... After a while I'll shut off and check coolant level. But I did check prior to running and it was full, and oil looked good. Low idle burns pretty darn clean after warm up.

You'd think you'd hear tappet noise, I completely agree. It's kind of a noisy engine, but from what I can tell, valve lash is correct.

It's weird, eh? I personally didn't mess with the nut when we did the lift pump. My neighbor with the tractor is elderly, just full story, and the dealer tried to tell him this thing was junk several times before. I don't know a whole lot about diesels but I at least wanted to try and help...

My neighbor called me this morning and said he made a break through. Turns out... as he loosened the valve cover acorn nut on the 3rd cylinder (closest to the firewall) the idle smoothed out. If he retightened, the engine choked up. I have a video I will upload later. Does this make sense to...

All great ideas. Thank you guys. I will loosen lines and purge, and check fuel return line, air filter is OK. I will also check injector spray and see if I can find clearance specs somewhere.

It's cam driven, and as far as I can tell, just moves fuel to the injection pump. There's a little diaphragm seal that failed and allowed fuel to enter the case. I walked over to my neighbors and swapped the filter, and checked tube flow (it was OK). Definitely runs a bit better but still...

One of these, this pump is pre injection pump. Will do! I'm sure I'm not the first with this issue, it's likely something that K.I.S.S will solve.

Sorry about the wording there, a buddy of mine described the fuel system as 'not warming up' so I've been referring to it like that.

I did, it does move the throttle plate. Mechanical knob shut off that has a linkage that connects to the same plate as the throttle linkage. I have to keep the throttle up to keep it idling... Another detail to consider. But you can't really tell the throttle is up, but without it raised it...

Exactly. No throttle response, it just never clears out.

Good ideas. Perhaps 'warming up' is the wrong way to word it. The temperature will increase, but the fuel system will not clear up and run smoothly. I have heard that injectors need to warm up to operate effectively.

Hi all, You all helped myself and my neighbor diagnose a problem with his Kioti LB1914 several months ago. Another problem came up with the machine, I have a video of the issue. He said it started to take a while for the engine to warm up, clear out the smoke and have any throttle response...

I actually have about ten of those trays. Haha. Old aluminum tray with the assembly linked together you can drop in. The cubes they make are pretty large!

They are indeed very difficult to find. Dealer I worked for had several over the year, but area rep. said allocation is tough. NS is a nice tractor. DK is probably better value.

Just my IMHO - But the NX is not something I would purchase, if you like that platform, go for the NS. NS has much better pedal response. Ground straps were to help with static build up, and I know several NX's have returned after the service bulletin with issues related to HST...

I'm remodeling a house now - was copper originally - I made some repairs with press fittings. Now that I have gutted the whole house, rewired, etc., it will be plumbed with PEX. It's hard to beat the ease of installation, ability to repair, and I don't have to worry about acidic or basic water...

For a belly mount mower, IMHO you made the right decision to go with the CX. They are an awesome little tractor. It sounds like it does the job well for what you're doing 👍

Wish I could be more helpful - if you already have a lot of Milwaukee, go for it. For 1/2" and 3/4" - the smaller batteries will handle it with ease. Otherwise, Ridgid offers a nice product - I believe a few models even have a fully rotating head.

CK and CX both have their place. Both are good machines, offering different solutions.

I've got 4 of the DeWalt branded sawhorses. Pretty sturdy, metal, the locking mechanism is a finger pincher. I like them and would recommend. The Bora's are nice.

Off the hip, I'd say $12,000 range for the tractor (likely more depending on what area of Oregon you are in. Probably around $6k for the Gator. Both look really clean!

A friend of mine has a TMG tire changer he bought from a Ritchie Bros auction, I use the machine to change all my tires - actually really great value if you find one discounted. TMG stuff shows up unboxed and brand new at auctions frequently. Ritchie Bros always has something branded TMG for sale.

It's frustrating when that's a 'reveal' product - an overpriced gimmick that doesn't enhance functionality or durability.

If I am understanding it correctly - we've seen this on new Kioti CS series loaders - we brought the roll cylinders to a local hydraulic shop and had them rebuilt - fixed the issue. Cylinders are $360/ea from Kioti

I finally have a response for you - Cylinders had good compression - last time I heard the neighbor said the smoke has cleared up and it's running just fine now. Apparently it takes almost exactly two minutes from cold start to clear exhaust - and is running well enough for him to live with it.

Just my opinion - but, I strongly dislike compact tractor backhoes - I have operated Massey and Kioti versions and was unhappy with all the models I have used. I personally feel for dirtwork, trenching, etc., renting a mini ex is a way better deal. I know that may not be a popular opinion.

I would vote for a CX2510 - with lots of experience issuing warranty repairs, etc., I think the CX2510 is one of the best tractors in that range (new). Get a wheel weight kit, or fill the rear tires with beet juice. The control modules on these are typical to go out, a recall was just issued on...

We use a Technivorm Moccamaster, love it. Grind beans - then make a full pot - nice thing about the Moccamaster is even temp control and a quick brew so mild roasts can still retain some great flavor. At least in my experience.

Curious how bad the interior of the cab is. Can't imagine how much it would be to ship that here to WA. I do have a brother in MI.

I definitely agree there are weed seeds in the hay. But I don't think I've ever cut hay when thistle heads are mature, perhaps the seeds are viable when the plant is much younger than I expect. Thistle heads are maturing right now in my area of Western WA. I cut and baled hay early last month...

Definitely get more thistle spread when feeding round bales without an elevated feeder - I have wondered if it's the seed in the hay OR the choking out of competitive grasses that actually causes the spread.

A farmer in Western WA once told me the local agricultural extension was suggesting thistle seeds are viable for up to 30 ish years, depending on soil conditions.

Most likely, it's a roll pin or something in the linkage sheared off.

We had a safety control module go out on a CK2610 cab - we were able to jump at the starter and get it running again - replaced the module and it started via key after that with no issues. I didn't realize the module controlled glow timing as MIE said, learn something new!

I am in Western WA - but up here that would be on the cheaper side. Parts have become so expensive. Last year a neighbor had a repipe done on a home and paid $30k - the house is 2600 sq ft. He received several quote. Repipes have more labor.

We have picked up dead tractors with a rollback in the field and just bumped the gear into neutral and it has worked fine.

I was thinking fuse related as well - I would trace fuses and look for a blown fuse

This was my first thought too - however in the past I have had Safety Modules burn out and still was able to start them when jumping at the starter. Affecting glow timing definitely would do it though. Interesting.

Oh yeah - for a direct replacement hood, you may wait a while unless someone else chimes in with a source, but I will keep a note on my desk to watch for one. As far as seats - are you comfortable drilling out a new seat if the bolt pattern doesn't match up perfectly?

Are you getting anything at all when you jump starter? Or no crank?

Montana body parts will be hard to source - I have sourced parts from salvaged Montana tractors through All States Ag parts before with success. As far as seats, many aftermarket seats will fit - feel free to post an image of the current seat.

I order parts for a Kioti Dealer on the west coast, and it's incredible what I can and can't get - if you opt for a cab - be careful with that glass - I have been waiting nearly a year for new glass panels for several cabs in the field.

As with any tractor purchase - how close is your dealer for each brand? RX7320's have good reliability, but parts availability for Kioti is a growing issue - sure, it's also a broad COVID issue - but I do not have access to AGCO or Deere parts databases to see availability of their parts...

This is intriguing - for units out of warranty, this is a good option.

If you are jumping across the starter, the safety switches do not need to be working - the safety module can be faulty and still start the tractor via starter jumping. Usually when safety modules or switches are bad, you won't get a crank at all.
