    Homemade tractor (in aus)

ahh I understand what you mean now, in regards to the transmission. Hopefully I'll have the extra HP available just Incase, ie bog down ect. But nonetheless it will be very nice having a high pto HP amount, especially with running a tiller ect. ascfor HP, I must remember to start writing...

    Homemade tractor (in aus)

Sadly I'm most likely needing two, as otherwise the drive system will be a PITA, and for lawnmower transmissions, from what I've heard unless you use a k66 or more (which even then isn't recommended) since they can burn out really easily with alot of strain being put on them. Granted my solution...

    Homemade tractor (in aus)

Sadly in my area, kei trucks are stupidly expensive (around 5-10K for one that's half rusted out) and the golf carts are mainly abused by teens hooking on them (I know as I used to participate in said hooning lol) As for the gearbox mechanism, you've actually described exactly what I'm...

    Homemade tractor (in aus)

I've heavily thought about it, however due to needing to do clay work, whislt maintaining a small size means that 2wd would just spin. A good friend of mine has a smaller unit like that, also in 2wd, we tried it the other day. Well let's just say it tilled the area where it's rear tires were...

Haha thankyou, I've been trying to update as much as I can, however I want to avoid clogging up the thread with tidbits, and being swamped with work means progress is slow

Oh I'm talking about having to unhook the pto when parking ect ect, plus it does concern me with other implements yk

    Homemade tractor (in aus)

Wow that belt drive looks really interesting, I was planning on using a hydro off a lawnmower but now a regular transmission is definitely going to be more useful haha. I've found some out of a Ute for a few 00$ which will give me low gearing. As for the pto I'm planning on using a simple belt...

    Homemade tractor (in aus)

There may be "some" however that would easily go for 1000$ plus, nonrunning. Which when a little Chinese one is half the cost. Or 1/4 the cost of a running unit, it sadly makes more sense, I really don't know why they're so expensive here though. The Chinese one should be here in about 3 weeks...

    Homemade tractor (in aus)

The te20, sadly no. I learnt the hydraulics are ran off the pto aswell, which entirely killed it for me as I can't justify taking it off just to lower the implement. As for the tiller, I've found a powerful small one for 500$, so I plan on buying that and trying it whislt I source parts and...

    Homemade tractor (in aus)

Haha I wish only 3x. To buy what I'm looking at will be 10K minimum, and to get something with some use on it would be around 15K. And after just recently spending 7 on a mower she's already fairly not happy

    Homemade tractor (in aus)

Sadly not here, unless I buy Chinese. It seems prices are doubled + the gst ecr makes it un-feasable

    Homemade tractor (in aus)

Have looked into that, and with what they're charging it's cheaper to bite the bullet lol. Most places near me are a few hundred for 1-3 days, which multiple times a year is tractor money haha. And by the sounds of it she definitely won't budge

    Homemade tractor (in aus)

Oh yeah they're really popular here, it's either them, internationals or David browns or fiats. But Massey's are byfar the most popular, the only thing I really dislike is the high speed and large just, size in general. Since the areas I need to use it in are absolutely miniscule, and 15 point...

    Homemade tractor (in aus)

Hi all, after consulting my wife on buying a SCUT/CUT she has, well firmly disagreed with the idea. However my dilemma is that I am wanting to create a garden/planting area, and due to our soil being 99% clay, I've had to approach the costly territory. So what I want to ask is: Out of these...

    Older Massey vs b7100?

Haha, on our old gc1705 I'd pay the neighbors kids 20$ to get in and unlatch it, so I could just slide it out and clean it thatway. But hey Abit of gymnastics is never a bad thing
  17. T

    Older Massey vs b7100?

Do you know of any places that make or supply the loader and plumbing? Here in aus the cheapest 7100 is 5.5K, but that's about 20 hours one way, and the best one after that is 6.5K, but if i can mount A loader for less than 6K then I'll be golden (all prices in aud ofc). But man am I jealous for...

    Older Massey vs b7100?

Thinking of designing a new garden, and need something to pull a tiller though heavy clay soil, and preferably mow I can buy a b7100 hst and mid mount mower for 6.5K,but no loader and kindof banged up, but good condition still. Or I can buy a larger tea20 with a loader for 5.5K, or a fe30 for...

Is there an estimate of when the cs2520 will come to Australia?

So, I'm very on the fence about the cs2610, but when looking at the cs2520 it has practically all the upgrades I could want. However due to the fact that we only have CS 2610 in Australia and there's no date for the 2520s , and the dealer hasn't responded I was hoping someone here would know...

Kioti cs2610 vs Kubota bx23s vs Massey gc1725M

Lucky as that's one of the reasons I'm looking into one, is due to the mid mount since our cub cadet at 60 hours needs a brand new wiring rebuild, and has been in the dealer for over a month. So due to this I absolutely need a tractor that can atleast somewhat mow (plus with Australia when it's...

Kioti cs2610 vs Kubota bx23s vs Massey gc1725M

Sadly, size is an issue since our cub cadet (brand new at 60 hours) needs the whole wiring harness done, and the dealer for it has had the damn thing in for nearly a month now, so I predict in future the tractor will take over mowing duties whenever that thing decides to crap out yet again...

Kioti cs2610 vs Kubota bx23s vs Massey gc1725M

Well, 1.5 acres with about half being flat and half's being deep ruts ect, and tilling, moving stuff around (lumber, dirt ect) grading, aswell as using the loader and backhoe to dig/assist with renovations. So I'd say mostly the usual stuff

Kioti cs2610 vs Kubota bx23s vs Massey gc1725M

Yep, I understand paying for quality ofc, but our local Deere dealer just asks stupid prices, and when asking actual questions all they do is run a sales pitch (I asked about the hydraulic flow and they started talking about axle protection??). Certainly wouldn't consider buying anything with...

Comparison What's the Best of these three tractors in aus ?

Yeah he does this on pretty much all my posts, seems to do it on everyone's too. Also tells me that the kiotis are the same, when they have a 1.5hp difference from aus to the United States lol. I do wish to know what else he wants me to research though?

Comparison What's the Best of these three tractors in aus ?

So, to humor you I just googled it. The 2510 is less hp than the 2610, enough so to make a difference (24.5 vs 26) so, moot point right there pretty quickly. And you say about research and yada yada, but isn't this thread for exactly what I'm asking? In the end I'll still be choosing the...

Kioti cs2610 vs Kubota bx23s vs Massey gc1725M

Yeah I'm really feeling into the kioti, overall it seems the best. My main concern was with the plastic rear on the Massey and our temps/sun causing issues with said plastic

Kioti cs2610 vs Kubota bx23s vs Massey gc1725M

Haha agreed, I like their tractors alot. But a cs2610 with mmm, loader and backhoe is the same price as a 1025r with mower only.... Yeah no I'm good lol, it's just too expensive for the machine you get
  28. T

Comparison What's the Best of these three tractors in aus ?

That's the one I'm considering more tbh, the Kubota also has far better parts availability. The only thing is the price but since I'm inspecting them next week, if they're more comfortable then it'll be worth it As for the Massey, I thought it was made in Japan but is now in India, so it's...

Comparison What's the Best of these three tractors in aus ?

T The kioti cs2610 is no longer sold in America, or atleast to my knowledge. The new models are the 2220 and 2520. These are both not sold here, even pfg Australia doesn't have them listed. With the new 20 series having major improvements over the 10 series. And as for the others I'm trying to...

Comparison  What's the Best of these three tractors in aus ?

Hi all, so I'm in the market for a small subcompact. Now I've narrowed my search down to these 3, So I'm planning to have a loader mid mount mower and backhoe fitted to all 3, seeing as with renovations I'll need to be digging and moving stuff around fairly often. So my thinking is Kioti...

Kioti cs2610 vs Kubota bx23s vs Massey gc1725M

Neither do I, but John Deere is just too expensive (fel+mower+tractor is 37750, whereas kioti with tlb and mower is 35000) And sofar they seem to be the best option too

Kioti cs2610 vs Kubota bx23s vs Massey gc1725M

Hi all, so after much browsing and research, I think I've narrowed my search down to these 3 tractors. However I do have some concerns that hopefully some of you can help with 1. Apparently the new gc1725 and 1723 are manufactured in India now? Aswell as being made of alot more plastic. So for...

    Considering a cs2610

Does anyone know of any issues with the machines? And does the rear backhoe connect to the subframe or is it different? I looked at a video but really couldn't tell. I'm going to visit the dealer on Sunday but I'm attempting to find out as much as I can before going

What's the best subcompacts in aus?

Listen man, the reason I'm asking is because there is literally no information for Australia. We have multiple different models than the American market/our prices are often different. Hey I'd love to do more research if I could, but beyond asking I have no option. Plus that's not even factoring...

What's the best subcompacts in aus?

So, after multiple deals have fallen through (thankyou dodgy Facebook sellers) I've decided to go and buy dealer new, so in your opinion what's the best subcompacts ? I'm trying to get a TLB setup but I'm more than happy to just stick with a loader and belly mower. Sofar I'm considering kioti...

    kubota bx 2670 vs 2330

thats exactly what i was thinking, since id much rather have the loader than not, and especially as here they seem to be 7-8K to have one added, which on a 16K machine is abit.... yeah do you know if itd still be possible to get parts for the 2230? as here in aus its hard to get parts for a...

    kubota bx 2670 vs 2330

bx2670 bx2330 with deck only bx2330 with loader and mower out of these what do you think is best? im leaning towards the bx2670 since its the newest and has really low hours but i also want a loader, which the 2330 has but im just worried about the parts for them, and how avalible they are for...

Would it be possible to convert a lawn mower into a lawn "tractor"

Well I was thinking of some ground work, ie ploughing, using a rotary hoe ect. Aswell as the occasional mowing (with the 3pl ofc), but the usefulness doesn't really worry me, since it's more of a passion project lol

Would it be possible to convert a lawn mower into a lawn "tractor"

Hi all. So this is Abit outlandish however I feel like there may be some feasibility. My consideration was to have a small lawn tractor such as a cub cadet lt 1042, gear down the hydrostat so it puts slightly less strain on the system, and re-route the belts to a custom built pto assembly...
