I'm trying to repair a stuck brake and found out lever is stuck. I removed brake cover and shoes but this thing is really stuck. I looked at a video on a yanmar but not quite the same.

The pst has a forward/reverse lever on the steering column. The hst has 2 pedals on the right side floorboard with brakes on the left, no clutch pedal

Haven't really noticed, it feels pretty strong but i know thats the return spring. Thanks for your reply I'll check it out. Just makes me cringe thinking about taking it to the shop. Some mechanics are good and some replace parts until they fix it.

This tractor has a few issues but this is new. Started great pushed in clutch, pushed lever toward forward and tractor started moving. Pushed toward reverse same thing it started moving backwards. Never actually got it in gear. You can put everything in neutral and push lever back and forth...
