Not a tractor, but I wonder about the bars on the deck of my 30" DR Mower. I do my best to keep them elevated when rolling on pavement or gravel. I'm not a great welder, and I don't want to poke a hole in the bars with a my Lincoln wire feeder. 3 years old and no sign of gouging on the bars....yet

My 3016 is similar sometimes. A combination of double-clutching, & rolls usually does it. My Kubota RTV 500 shifting is similar: gun it, roll it, or press harder on the brake pedal. Then sometimes, the lever on the tractor zooms past mid range..., I get H to L. 🤣

I run a widened warn blade on my RTV 500; added 12" to each end, added a strip of conveyor belt on the bottom, and I permanently mounted the attachment plate to the RTV... The only bit of advice I can add among these fine examples is this: if your gonna use a winch to raise & lower the blade...

I have the 3016; not sure if my comment will help but I put sections of schedule 40 PVC inside the seat springs. Maybe 1" dia X 3" long; whatever fits inside of the springs. The rocking side to side was really tough on my L4 & L5.
