Hondas are used quite a bit on commercial construction equipment. Not so much on mowers. I own several pieces of equipment with Honda engines. The only one I have problems with is my i2000 generator. It's problem isn't the motor, it's the carb.

No, no fluids should spill out. Before you pull it, take a meter and see if it is getting voltage when you turn the key on. If no voltage, then it could be a blown fuse, a bad wire, bad connector or a bad connection on the ignition switch......or, a bad ground connection.

Get the best of both worlds: Buy a cheaper ZTR and put a aftermarket suspension seat on it. My Deere 930M has a adjustable suspension seat on it. Love that seat.
