Yeah there's some discrepancies in there. I used the trans/hydraulic fluid, we'll see what happens. I did overfill it though, like to the fill spout. Probably drain some off tomorrow

I used the same stuff in OP's pic. Never saw it in the sight glass and ended up overfilling it, I put in about 3 gallons of fluid. Do you know about how much extra these things hold? thanks

I did add a couple more pictures, It does say the transmission is hydraulic+mechanical.

It's HST, forward and backward pedal. This is why I'm confused. Thank you for helping by the way. I recently bought this and theres no fluid on the sightglass, I need to add or change it.

I just bought a 2017 emax 25 hst s. I've tried searching and searching through here. I dont know what goes where. There's no fluid level showing on the sight glass so it needs fluid. The book says GL-4 80W, but I seen a guy on here using (Traveller universal trans/hydrauic fluid)..Is this right...

The book says API-GL-4, gear oil, 80W...Is this the same stuff? All I can find is 80-90 GL-5.
