Wall Mount Garage Door Opener - Question for Current Users

Thanks MHarryE. I did not think of down assists. Every time the cables came off I would add slope to the tracks, adjust spring tension and limit the opening height. It only happened in the beginning when setting up the doors. 4 Liftmaster/Chamberlain 8500 on 12x14 sectional doors. I will...

ck3510se, hydraulic leak somewhere on 3pt valve area

I blew plenty of O-rings. The hard line was replaced, the valve body was replaced, and after several 150 mile trips to the dealer, several self repairs, and many months of fighting leaks, I reached out to MIE. From MIE, For the return line from the Rear Hydraulic Valve to the Top of the...

BX owners: any ways to increase loader capacity?

Like Tractor Seabee, I raised the pressure to 2,000 almost 2,500 hard working hours ago. The factory spec for my BX24D is 1778-1849 and from the factory pressure was at the low end. All tires are foamed. The tractor has no trouble handling a full bucket even with the BXpanded bucket expander.

    Economy PTO on a Kioti

My 3510SE HC has the same indication. Was trying to figure out if it was available, if it was an option, and how to use select it. So far it is not looking good as a useable feature. :-(

Stan B, thank you. I did see a picture of the PTO selection lever in the Owners Manual and thought maybe I could get lucky. :-)

    Economy PTO on a Kioti

It appears my CK3510SE HC has the indication of Economy PTO on the tach, a slot for the selector lever on the left by the seat, but no Economy PTO. Either that or I am missing something about Economy PTO. It might be nice to run the PTO generator in economy. Is it an option on the CK3510SE HC?

Shop Vac Suction at Hydraulic Fill Port?

I had a second person just hold the shop vac to the fill port and very little fluid came out(read as just drops). Yes, the filter was removed from the shop vac as if using it for wet pickup.

    Mini Split Reliability

I have 10 Senville units. DIY. 4 units are bracket / wall mounted with 6 ground mounted. Over 3 years and only 1 trouble. At the cost, I just changed out the unit. While removing the unit, the location of the freon leak was discovered. The unit is now my spare. The units work great when the...

Grading Anybody make any type of weight box to mount on box blade?

I welded a 1" bar, drilled holes in the ends for the lynch pins, made 12"x12"x1" thick steel plates with a 1 1/16" hole and handle and it works for me.

    Your towing rigs and trailers

After 7,000 miles of towing since late May, here are a couple of shots the day after arriving back home. The trailer loaded is right at 10,000 pounds and mileage is 8.5 - 9.0 if I keep it under 60 mph. Include is the BX, 5' flail, chipper, box blade, rake, front forks, rear forks, 600 pounds...

    BX24 Radiator fan replacement

If I had not been cheap and would have bought the Bro-Tek front skid plate with my rear skid plate, the HST fan would have been safe. Richard (Bro-Tek) is building a radiator fan protection plate and I will post results here after a week or so in the woods. Santacruzer, get all the skid plates...

    BX24 Radiator fan replacement

It didn't take long to get another stick in the HST fan. Just under 24 hours of seat time and I heard the fan noise twice. The pictures are of my new fan installed and almost completed and my new HST fan with a stick. The last picture is the same stick except from the fan end. The stick end is...

    BX24 Radiator fan replacement

The parts for the radiator fan replacement finally arrived this morning. 4 days for parts. The first item I reviewed was the HST fan. After figuring out the fan replacement was not an easy fix (for me) I decided to let it go for this job and replace it when I get back home in late...

    BX24 Radiator fan replacement

Radioman, The air filter assembly is part of the radiator shroud. Sure wish all I ever broke was a taillight protector. I only need taillights on the road and the closest my BX gets to the road is in the ditch. :) My BX is used for everything I do away from the house. Since I am on crutches or...

    BX24 Radiator fan replacement

Start by removing the flail mower, removing the loader, and placing the tractor in the garage. A few pictures of the damage. Remove the grill guard, the bonnet side and the air cleaner. Be sure to plug the air intake to keep junk from going in the engine. Found a piece of the fan. The fan...

    BX24 Radiator fan replacement

When the 2" diameter hardwood tree branch thrust up through the radiator fan shroud, and into the radiator fan, the Kubota BX24 made a noise so vile, sent shrapnel flying, and shook so hard that chills ran down my spine. After all, I had just killed my favored companion that has lasted longer...

    BX24 Increased pressure with shims

Here are the real world pictures promised. When lifting the backhoe, the front bucket will not lift the hoe, so I start with a slight tip on the pallet. Then just curl the bucket. PS. There is not enough curl power either. My BIL has to exert about 75 pounds of additional force to end up with...

    BX24 Increased pressure with shims

I finally managed to test the pressure and found my BX24 had 1740 PSI at WOT and warm fluid. I added 4mm shim and the pressure went to 1900 PSI at WOT. WOW, what a difference. I have a tractor that can lift a full bucket, a backhoe that can really scratch the dirt, and I can get by running at...

    Quick Connect Dust Caps

After what seems like hours of searching, I have been unable to find colored dust caps for the Snap Tite 72C4 (female) and 72N4 (male) quick connects on my BX24. I would like to find 5 different colors. Just point me to the website I can order from and my credit card will do the rest.

Finding small air leak in front tire

One of the front tires on my BX24 was losing about 3 psi in a 24 hour period. I tried the soap and water and did not have any luck locating the culprit. By using the loader bucket to lift the tires, I was able to slide a tub under the tire, fill it with water, and wait!! and wait!! Finally...

    BX24 Hand controlled differential lock

This simple modification allows me to use the differential lock by hand, does not get in the way of anything, and I no longer bump my head on the steering wheel when bending over to engage the differential lock. For those of you that don't know, my left leg is MIA. PS. The dirt...

    Bro-Tek ripper

ktmpat, I have at least 30 hours on my Bro-Tek ripper. It is my most used implement. Digging stumps, picking rocks, breaking ground that seems as hard as concrete, and of course, digging small irrigation and drainage piping ditches. It takes a little time, a little finesse, and occasionally a...

Drawbar lock mod fits Pat's Easy Change

Just finished a 10 minute job making my drawbar work smooth with Pat's Easy Change system on my BX24. Not very pretty, but functional. Someday I'll grind the rough edges and paint the entire drawbar the same color. The pictures are self explanatory.

FEL bucket lip forks for BX24

I'm finally getting around to posting a little information about my FEL bucket lip forks. After looking at many posts about bucket forks, I molded several ideas into one product. New operator, owner, and forum posting

The new BX24 is getting close to having 50 hours, plenty of dirt, a few scratches, and slowly I'm getting more comfortable on the seat (especially the new seat). TBN and its' vast knowledge base helped make the decision about the tractor make, model and implements go pretty smooth. It didn't...
