In December they were going for about $2500 after fee for models like the MX12R and QH12R. Now they're back up to $4000. Hard to find used ones because any price discount and they sell quick as they're posted.

Do a search on tractorhouse for auction results to check prices across the country.

Minneapolis area they were selling for $2900 on FB but now up to $3600. Auctions were down to $2500 after fees at end of the year but now back over $3000.

I've noticed FleetFarm has hoses for really cheap if you can put up with the standard sizes.

Has anyone else had any luck with switching the auxiliary and the swingboom DCV and electronic?

This is why I think they installed parts in the wrong place at the factory.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried to switch the 3-way diverter with the electronic diverter on the swing boom? I have a AGT DM12-C and want the swing boom to be DCV and the auxiliary to be electronic.

I would start there with anything RATO/Predator/Honda. It's worked for me even when I can't find any tattoo on a small engine.

Did you try Harbor Freight? The engines person usually knows the cross reference numbers on RATO to Predator engines.

You can buy two at the auction and have a great parts warranty too.

Yes, they're awesome but how much more are they compared to skidsteers and forklifts? A lot of us would have one if it was affordable.

It does all the rough off road stuff but is $10k more than a regular forklift.

I was referring to any mods to the hydraulics or drive train too. I'm sure there are plenty of things that can be updated.

Yep, and the $10k savings over a skidsteer doesn't hurt either. Something that will only get 10 hours a year use anyways. Plus you can lift more and higher!

The comparison of a forklift vs skidsteer would make the skidsteer more appealing then these.

Modding one from electric to lp/gas, have you heard it done yet? I think this may be the other half of the issue since not everyone is ready to go electric.

This is exactly what I think will end up happening for me too. I'll buy something cheaper and then upgrade as I go. You don't know what you have until you own one and find out what all it can do.

I have a neighbor that has one of these. Like any Scrub Cadet model, it doesn't seems to be very powerful.

I've looked at these but I would need a much larger tractor than a JD 1025R. Also, it wouldn't fit through a seven foot door. If I already owned a big enough tractor I would have owned this attachment a long time ago.

Sorta off topic but does this model come with splined shaft drive motors? You're going through with a fine-toothed comb and might have noticed. I noticed this on Miva labeled machines and the Vicsec look a lot like them. This was the reason I stopped bidding up the price on a Miva.

Most lift for the buck is a forklift. Otherwise its a higher priced skidsteer if you want something to fit in a seven foot garage door.

I think you answered my question. I thought the MIVA had a splined, are they different from the AGT models that use the BM6-310?

The splined or tapered with nut shafts should still be universal. They're on the outside of the machine. Easier to go to a tapered shaft since the nut and pin come with it. Here's a splined version on a MIVA VA13.
