I need to dig a hole for a 12 foot by 8-9 inch pole. I have a 9 inch and a 12 inch auger. The ground is concrete hard and possibly within the root radius of a large tree. My question is would it be easier to drill an initial hole with the smaller auger (like a pilot hole) and then...
