That's what I'm in the middle of. Trying to determine how much oil goes in the gearbox. Internet says finish mower gearboxes hold from a few ounces to 2 qts depending on the mower. But nothing specifically about the Kioti. I'll probably just put enough in for the level to be between the marks.

My MF GC1720 didn't have one, so I made one. I use it every time I use the tractor, even if it's just to level the bucket to park it....

I use an old 8"(?) wheel. Probably from a yard cart. Eye bolt on one side and a U bolt on the other. One side rope hooks to tractor and the other side rope hooks to atv. Pull it back and forth. Works good. My culvert pipe is smooth wall.

In my mind, it seems like adding (say 6-8") to the bottom edge of the bucket might help. Not sure how it might work or what issues it might create...

Sorry, I didn't include a photo. I thought it might be correct. The guy I bought the tractor from seemed like the kind of guy who took pretty good care of his equipment and I couldn't see him not replacing something that needed it. Thanks for the replies.....jkm
