That is also a good point about wheel bearings. Thank you. Not all OEM parts (i.e. bearings) are made for use/abuse. Maybe consider looking for quality bearings? I buy bearings from a company who deals with only bearings.

Max height lift specs are analogous to some "minimum" lift capacity based on the reasoning/assumption that more height = less lift variable relationship. But its more realistically (but still unrealistic), how far your loader is away out front that undermines lift capacity. Farther away = less...

That would be very interesting to see. To add, you could take those tractor-loader dimensions and calculate the moment (tendency to rotate) that causes the tractor to tip over (on level ground).

Thats very true to point out, however its hard finding specs consistently at 60", either at pins or certain distance away from bucket; across each brand/model. Especially with brands using metric/imperial measurements it gets extra complicated.

Will definetely find others ways around for safer travel if needed/possible. The forest has many lowland creeks/ponds/swamps that require basically Argo XTV capabilities to travel through unless high ground is taken, where granite bedrock sheets mountains protrude occasionally.

Thats a good point, however these Italian tractors are mainly used for orchards/vineyards. Skidders on the other hand are still manufactured by companies like Tigercat, CAT, Deere, and some others (popularity has dropped as you mentioned). Smallest I've seen/heard of is Awassos MD80 log skidder...

Thanks for this info, 9-10 inch ground clearance is a tough dealbreaker (my compact tractor is 14-15"). Likely will get caught up on downed limbs/rocks underneath. From what Ive seen on Youtube they're quite zippy tractors on the road like race-car lol.
