As I have stated before, the hydraulic systems on these mini's is marginal unless you get into the rotary piston pump with variable vanes and valving that is needed to run the higher GPM. The 1.8T diesel mini is 20LPM and 7 LMP pilot controls - this will get you a digging force around 3000...

For the XVIII at $9K thats a great deal - and the side panels do provide access too - and the top below the seat on the TT XVIII - they made refinements since I got mine over a year ago which is good. The Huayee is a bit more refined I agree, but I dont think its worth $3K more honestly. The...

There are two pumps - one main 20 LPM and one for the pilot controls 7 LPM, which are pretty much the same as the other mini's and these pumps are 3-400 range at most. B7800 will not run after rain?

OK so it started now with a puff of black smoke, which is normal in the first few seconds after starting. I suspect it was the plugged air filter, when its wet / damp the pores of the filter are so plugged it can't get air - though its rare, it is possible if you are in a damp, humid...

    New 2025 B2601 vs used B2601

Yes - this is SSQA and that's a good looking Kubota - buy it! You can fix the deck wheel easily.

Appears not to have had the best care, but with some TLC and clean up it will be a nice machine. And agree it has the QA bucket.

    New 2025 B2601 vs used B2601

Does the 2018 used machine have a QA bucket (skid steer type) or pin on bucket? If pin on it limits the attachments - forks, etc. but you can add the QA set up if you need it, $1500 or so

No brainer - save $14K and get the 300 hour nearly new one, it may need the 300 hour SUDT fluid change, for $300 range. That is a great deal - buy it or put a deposit, subject to inspection etc. Please post pictures of the 309 hour machine..

GPM required to run mini-ex mulcher?

MIke - the Tak 280 specs show two hard lines on the stick - the primary at 39GPM and secondary at 15 GPM so should be fine running a mulching head on the primary.

Pictures from a skid steer mowing contractor

Charlie, what do you do with the metal stuff you "find" or cut into? With the density of underbrush and hidden stuff do you hit it and back up and clear it? Or do you leave that area undone? BTW great transformation from a brush backwater to a nice lakeside site!

What can I spray in the woods to control unwanted growth but not harm trees?

Yes - we had a farm in PA that had about 20 acres of neighboring woods clear cut - for the next 5-8 years in deer season we would walk the thicket and usually drove 4-6 deer into the fields as they like the thickets.

What can I spray in the woods to control unwanted growth but not harm trees?

With clear cutting, it's normal for the forest to grow back brushy with briars, then the trees take over and there are fewer briars—but it takes 10 years before the forest returns. If a select cut was done there should be fewer briars and weeds. Anything that kills the brush will also kill...
