Transmission is Park Low and High. 4 gears for Low and 4 gears for High. Low range is too slow for the road so I will be in High the whole time. Do you leave the shuttle shifter in forward when clutching and changing gears?

It just seems like the gears grind and wont go in if moving. I don't know if I should be turning the shuttle to neutral. By the time it goes into gear I'm almost stopped.
