    Just went and checked the tractor doesn’t have an external pump it gets the oil from a valve just under the seat. You turn it one way the fel works turn it up and pto works. So I don’t see how it would get to engine. I c just checked the engine oil and pulled the dipstick out and oil is coming out.

    The reason I think that is the oil is to the top of crankcase dip stick like there is a couple gallons of extra oil in there. It has 1500 hrs on it. With that much blow by wouldn’t it be hard to start? I’m sure it has some with its age but that doesn’t explain the crankcase being over full of...

    I guess that would explain the overfill on the dipstick.Yes I can work on just about anything gas just never done diesel. I had no idea that it could come from the pump to crankcase. Thank you so much!
