I hope the OP is still monitoring this thread as I am going to start to do the same transaxle swap. Fortunately The K58B I'm getting comes with ujoints and carrier member so I shouldn't have a problem there. But I didn't know about the difference in the front trans mounting. How did you solve...

This is an awesome thread. I have 3 X304s. A 2008 I bought new, a 2006 and another 2008 I bought used. I blew out the trans in my original 2008 and I just bought a K58B trans complete. I'll be swapping out the K46 with the K58. I know I'll need a stud to hold the front end of the damper...
