What did you buy this week?

HF quick hitch.. Broke the Vevor one of course right after the sale ended. I bought the Vevor originally since it had the reciever buitin. The fit and finish of the HF unit is alot better. Probably never buy anything Vevor, built I was at fault for the damage.

    TODAYS SEAT TIME

Alot of tree and brush removal.. the debris forks is starting to look like hillbillies teeth but getting alot of cleanup done. The Vevor quick hitch didn’t survive very long. That hitch attachment is no match for a drawbar which I knew just wasn’t careful enough. One stump in the ground thats...

    TODAYS SEAT TIME

Couple hours to finish brush hogging and started cleaning out the tree-fence row.. debris forks are awesome for pulling out Japanese honeysuckle! Like a big salad fork.

    Clogged Radiators Hack

That brush is a good idea, need a toolbox on mine to carry stuff. But don’t most tractors don’t have screens.. at least the newer ones? The screen on the LS plugs up in a hour brush hogging. But the screens easily cleans with a knock on the tire.

What did you buy this week?

Maybe so.. did just fine today. Put together with stainless steel machine bolts vs glued. If it eventually fails I’ll get a metal frame made. Easy enough to remake. If that doesn’t get everyone riled up I drilled through the rops to bolt the back.

    I'll just have water

Growing up it was just water now days I get unsweetened tea since it helps my stomach. I rarely very rarely get a soda of any kind, those are seen as treat. I still fix stuff versus buying new but I'm starting to get tired of it. It seems I spend alot of time fixing stuff and no actual work...

$10K L5030 Plus Restoration, or $25K Newer Tractor With Perilous Electronics?

I went with the 2025 LS MT232 vs buying a older tractor. We bought 22 acres that's quite a mess so I have plenty of work to do already and didn't want to add potentially having to work on a older machine. LS offered 10 year 0% to keep the funds available for other projects. I can see keeping...

    Who rides motorcycles?

Buddy of mine has a BMW 400GT scooter.. I did eventually want a GTS310 but after seeing the BMW might go that route if I stick to scooters since it will be for highway driving. That GTS would be awesome around town.

    Who rides motorcycles?

No motorcycle yet, had a choice tractor or motorcycle and well. Right now living in the city the scoots work fine. 1982 Yamaha Riva CV80 79cc and 2020 Kymco Like 150cc. Both had around 100 miles when I got them in 2023, the Kymco has over 3k now. Once we get moved down to the new place not sure...

What did you buy this week?

Ordered debris forks from ebay. Bucket measures 65 so guessing a 66 bucket in bean counter terms, forks for 58. Looking forward to trying them out. Unfortunately just hollow tubes but in a few years maybe I’ll try welding up solid tines.

Weed uhh harvesting… I’ve been trying to knock most of them out before they went to seed. They did that quick! Seemed like a good idea anyways, taking a straight shovel and cutting off right at the base.

Tractors and wood! Show your pics

The wood/dirt pile I've been working on. They bulldozed a fence line full of hedge 20+ years ago and pieces are everywhere. I burned the big pile once and working through sifting the dirt for all the other pieces. Ran the disc over the pasture to bring up the hundreds of pieces, mower belts and...
