Looking at purchasing a used tractor. Have found a MF 231S and a MF 240 for the same price. Condition and hours are pretty much the same. The 231S is newer (2000). Is one of these preferable to the other? Reason/s? Thanks. OldDirt

Newby question here, can implements (bush hog box blade, etc) designed for a CAT I three point hitch be adapted/modified to fit a CAT II three point hitch (MF 285)? Or can the CAT II hitch be adapted/modified to use the CAT I implements? Is the CAT II PTO shaft different? Thanks in advance...
