    Gravely Pro turn ?

A couple years ago I decided to go with a new zero turn. I looked at a lot of them. For the money I don't think you can beat the Gravely. I got a proturn 52 with the Kohler engine and it has performed quite well. I have around 3 acres and have better than halved my mowing time from when I used a...

    Chipper / shredder

With the spread of online auctions around my area there are a lot of cheaper 3pt chippers available. Can usually get them for under 1000 and often under 700 if you're lucky. I picked one up a few years ago and its held up well doing occasional tree cleanup. The capacity is around 3 inches and...

    Gravely or Cub Cadet

Looked at a lot of zt mowers a couple of years ago. For the money you can't go wrong with the Gravely. I ended up with a proturn 52. Almost went with a bad boy but the dealer had a big charge to finance it.

    Fuel stabalizer

Basically I don't do anything. I use the low grade pump gas in everything and never have a problem. Lots of stuff sits over winter and never fails to fire up in the spring....Don't use any additives in anything.

What Do You Do With Your Waste Oil?

I work for a place that refines used oil back into a base oil. We have free drop off for small amounts. Safety-Kleen should take it if you have one around. Or check with an auto parts store. Your township may have options as well.

Would you buy a 54" or 60" deck?

Bought a 52" last year. Up from. 48" lawn tractor. My time on the lawn is down by 2/3. I have some tighter spots so I figured the 52" would be a better option. Once you get used to it, the speed at which you can run the zt is going to be more of a factor than a few more inches of deck.

    TN85A steering

2 years ago the steering went out on my tractor and had it in for new parts, yesterday my steering went out again. Guy says only one year warranty on parts, I barely put 50 hours on this thing since it broke last time. Is this a known problem with these machines or am I just lucky?

    tn85a lost fwd

was out moving snow and all of a sudden the tractor couldn't pull itself off the road. Looks like the front wheels are not trying to move. Switch is on and the light is on in the dash. Operators manual is less than worthless. I found a picture of a fuse and relay panel but it doesn't tell you...

    tn85a steering

Steering went away while baling today. All other hydraulic functions work OK and dipstick shows full. Any ideas. The operators manual is less than worthless.

    tn85 4 point

Been messing with this for a while and am at a loss. Have 3 point forkd to move round bales. When I had them on my IH they worked great went all the way down and rested flat on the ground. Now on my NH they won't come close to the ground no matter what I do with the 3 point levers. Manual isn't...

Anybody ever put up dry hay with an Owatonna stacker? Have done cornstalks and bean stubble years ago but never hay.

    tn85a exhaust

interested in a lower profile exhaust since the tractor does not fit in my garage as it currently is. Dealer says he can get something but the parts book does not illustrate it. Anybody have a pic or drawing?

    loader hydraulics

Have a TN85A and yesterday I went to move snow and the joystick wouldn't move to raise or lower the loader. I gave it a bit of pressure and the pivot point down on the valve broke, so now the joystick moves but does not activate the valve. Is this a replaceable item or am I looking at a new...

    TN85A power shuttle

According to the guy I bought it from and according to the book I should be able to change direction with just the shuttle lever and not have to use the clutch. However whenever I try it the tractor will not move and the warning light pops on and I have to operate the clutch to get the thing to...

    A little springtime fun

Grew up on those Johnny Poppers(could be why I like that narrow front 756) but seem to be headed towards that Red Power lately. Just picked this up at auction last weekend. Needed a hitch but the tires are great and it ran like a champ 20 miles to the house.

    info on old crimper?

I have an old crimper made by Meyer from Illinois. Not the Meyer from Dorchester WI. It has an Innes pickup reel on it. I have never seen a crimper with a pick up and haven't found anyone else who has either. I have seen other hay equipment from this manufacturer. I wonder if anyone around here...
