Help! Can't decide which trailer, LOL

The mega ramps sit flat on the ground under compression, this keeps the rear of the trailer from squatting and lifting the front of the trailer/rear of the truck... much safer, and no need for rear jacks. If the ramps are hard to lift up after loaded, just drive forward a few inches. All of my...

You can't tell by comparing unmounted and mounted tires. My guess is they would be fairly close in size after mounting.

    What is it worth

I've brazed or soldered holes in brass radiators on three different occasions, and all held for many years. Or a good radiator shop can boil it out and repair it for you.

I would start at the dealer, and google from there. I'm sure there are some around if the OP looks hard enough.

    What is it worth

AR 36816 is the 5020 front frame plate, not a radiator part number. AR 36814 is the radiator if I'm not mistaken.

Loader 5103 512 Loader mounting frames

Or go with an aftermarket loader. I have a Koyker 185 on one of my 5403, and it has been a good loader. Their website shows the same loader for the 5103, since it has the same frame size. It has been in use for over 15 years without problems. My other two loaders are JD.

5115M open station quit taking gear now unless I use clutch pedal every shift.

I had the same issue twice on my 2021 6105E. Both times I could still drive the tractor by using the clutch to operate the reverser, but still had no PTO operation. Both times the JD tech was there within 30 minutes and adjusted the bracket for the magnetic seat switch, but said the seat...

    M5-111 and ripping

I don't know what type of soil you have or what you are calling a ripper, but I've been ripping corn and bean ground all day with this Tufline 2 shank (28" x 1 1/4" shanks) ripper behind my JD 6105E ( not the 6115D pictured), and can tell you that 3 shanks is doubtful/ 5 is impossible with your...

    What have i got?

Both boxes are for seed, not fertilizer. One metered for large seed like fescue, rye, wheat... the other metered for small seed such as clover, etc. It's an overseeder, no idea on make/model.

The most dangerous trimming of the tree branch with a John Deere backhoe in my life..

Just a little friendly advice, if you will undercut the limb slightly, it will fall straight down, rather than hinge down and bounce back. It's always dangerous, but you're making it much worse than need be.

Western Kentucky, in Mayfield. Plenty of damage all over the state. Been cutting trees off of fences and getting cattle back in since 4:30 this morning. Just came in for breakfast. Y'all be safe. Mother Nature is a ***** on the farm.

    Is Rural Living a Hobby?

Like 5030, not a hobby for me. I'm the 8th generation to farm the same ground, now around 1200 acres. Great way to live, not much of a living.

Supply chain issues not ending soon - Case and New Holland in this article.

Same here, ordered a new tractor in January, received it the end of July. Dealer received two tractors that day, haven't been any more on the lot since I picked mine up. Crazy times. I was told they may not have any more factory shipments until mid-2022.

Anyone heard of Red Star attachments

I think they are Amish, but not sure. They have no website, but if you Google Joe's Machinery, you can download the PDF catalog.

Hay Wagon running gear deck replacement ideas

There is about 3" clearance between tires and deck. The floor on this wagon is set back farther than normal due to the frame being older and having a shorter tongue. I hook wagons together, so there has to be a certain amount of clearance between wagons for them to turn short. I want wagon...

    Question on Woods Backhoe Attachment

I've done a lot of reading and searching, but haven't been able to find the answer to my question. I'm considering a Woods BH90-X backhoe with subframe for my JD 5403. For those that own a Woods backhoe, can the subframe remain attached to the tractor while it is being used for other duties...

    Trailer with dovetail or not?

If you are going offroad, a hydraulic dove is the way to go. I drag the dovetail constantly, but its so much quicker and easier than slide out ramps that I deal with it. At least until I get the 30' hydraulic dovetail. Sent from my Milestone X2 using TractorByNet

Any 1020, gas or diesel, in good shape should pull a 6' bushhog with no problem at all. My 1020 has close to 10000 hours on it, and it can handle the 6' Woods easily. Mine is diesel.

Any other JD 1020 owners out there?

The 1020 is a great little tractor. Mine is a '71 model with over 7000 hours on it, originally bought by my grandfather. The engine was rebuilt at around 5500 hours. I wouldn't want a loader on it, as its pretty light, but a small one would probably be ok. Mine is pretty much only used now...

    Ouch!!! Fertilizer prices.........

I like my 7610S pretty well, but honestly I'm a John Deere guy. My Dad bought the 7610 in 98, when he died in 04, I inherited the tractor. It pulls my NH 678 roller OK, but on these hills, I could use more. Two things I do not like about... the hydraulic pump is underpowered, the lift weight...
