Finally dealt with this dead white pine. Leaning uphill but had to go downhill. Real nasty slope, no access from above to push , no good way to winch downhill. Center was completely rotten so no way to jack it. Spent some quality time with a half dozen wedges!

Was a great day when dad got the Homelite super XL12 ! Was quite the saw in its day. 12 pounds as advertised, never put it on a scale though. 16:1 fuel mix . Manual oiler, no AV or chain break , and pretty loud . Did a lot of cutting with it as I older.

No kidding, you have to bring along rent year old to run the tech stuff ! The active regen/breaking is ok when you get used to it but switching between vehicles that have it and ones without take a retraining moment. The lane keeping assist was one of the first things we switched off !

It is, it usually not the first time that gets you. The first time the body gets ready for another attack and the histamines are over produced, can end quite poorly! Epi can save a life, been there done that .

I do have the blower buggy and spreader and they are great. Rented a plug aerator a few years ago and found all the places the irrigation guys didn't set the pipe deep enough! They did comp the repairs though.

Ran a '94 F350 IDI 7.3 turbo 20 years. Not the crazy power of today's powerstroke but sure was trouble free.

My go to for brush piles starts with LP weed burner. leaf blower makes a fine bellows the Dura Flame fireplace logs will help get a fire started but not cheap. if things are really soaked I have soaked a hay bale with gas/diesel/used motor oil and fed the brush to it but that's a last resort.
