    Starter motor bolts.

Thanks piper 184. Excuse my ignorance re these bolts. Do I take it that 34 refers to the length. My bolt looks like the thread is 1.25. So I think it is a M10 x 1.25. Does a standard M10 bolt have the same thread size.

Hello everyone, I live in rural France and getting spares for my tractor is a difficult task, even with the use of the Google Garage. I have however, just got a replacement oil filter for the above. It is a Mann 719/13, perfect fit. Just one question is there any internal construction of the...

Starter Motor Overhaul - Y385T Engine

Hello Tony. I had a problem with my starter. I dismantled it and had to do some re soldering of wires that had come dodgy. One one occasion I cleaned the point where the battery earth strap was connected to the chassis and gave it a good clean and that did the job then.

Water pump on Jinma Y385 engine.

Hello bevanski, I was a little apprehensive ordering one from Aliexpress mainly because the price was so low. I bit the bullet an ordered one and it was spot on. Even the extra outlet was blanked off. It was a straight swap. Cost me about £53 in total. Good luck with yours. Johnny P

Water pump on Jinma Y385 engine.

Hello piper184. Thanks for the info. My original pump has a threaded bung/screw in to block off the outlet. Couldn't see on the photograph of the new one if it is the same. Hopefully it will be a case of just swapping the threaded bund/screw when it arrives.

Water pump on Jinma Y385 engine.

Hello all, I got the pulley off. This gave me the view of the outer seal. I poured some water in to the pump. Holding it so the shaft faced the floor I noticed water leaking out of the "weep hole". I believe this means that the internal seal (ceramic graphite) must have failed. I managed to...

Water pump on Jinma Y385 engine.

Hello aesmith. Thanks for this info. I was looking at Ali Express but was suspicious of the price. Didn't know if they took your money and you never saw the product, you hear of these kind of situations. Nice to hear from some one who has dealt with them. John

Water pump on Jinma Y385 engine.

Thanks for the reply piper184. There does not appear to be a nut on the end of mine (see photo). The round part on the end of the pulley appears to be part of the casting. I tried some mole grips on it but it would not move hence my previous thought. I also tried using some pulley pullers...
