Posthole Digger  L8000 Heavy Duty Post Hole Digger

I'm looking at this model with 12" auger. My ground is hard and I thought this model would be better with 12" auger over the L7200-L7300 with 12" auger for digging larger diameter holes. My thinking being it is better to be in the middle of the L8000s capacity versus at the maximum capacity...

    Dearborn 2 disc plow

I've found a Dearborn 2 disc plow that looks like the one in the picture but it is not red. Picture is from Sweet Tractor web site. I'm told that "around these parts" the disc plow would be better (easier to use) than a 2 bottom moldboard plow. The same place has Dearborn 2 bottom plows...

Add gate to existing barbed wire fence.

I plan to add a 16' gate to an existing barbed fence. I plan to put in H posts then somehow attach the wire to the new posts without loosing the "stretch". Besides not cutting the wire before I have it tied to the new post, what should I do? I have a couple of crappy come-alongs to help...

    New 1540

I decided the 1540 was adequate for my needs. I like the Massey Fergurson and the dealer is close and has been in business for a long time. Very busy place especially now at the start of "Hay Season". Open till 6pm on Saturday, that's good for us, pretend farmers. Everything else if 30 or...

Conversion Factor for 3PH load capacity

Hi, New member here. I am trying to compare 3PH load capacity but they are measused differently. I found a thread that seemed to have a conversion but I was unable to get a seemingly reasonable answer. Perhaps I'm just too stupid. How can I convert from say 2400lbs @ lift link ends to 24"...
