I keep breaking 1/2 ratchets on my lug nuts.

They won't fit in my tool box, and like a horse, you have to feed them even if they are not working. And all my lug nuts are OK. anyway. :) Bruce

Is there an anti-corrosion product that is not a lubricant? Or maybe it helps to add the anti-corrosion product after torquing? Bruce

I keep breaking 1/2 ratchets on my lug nuts.

Putting lug nuts back on with power but not overtightening: Find an old or cheap 3/8 extension and cut off the socket end. Chuck it in your electric drill and spin those nuts on fast. Don't used a hex to square adapter. It won't slip when the nut bottoms out. Bruce

I keep breaking 1/2 ratchets on my lug nuts.

Why is everybody recommending bigger wrenches and not the other alternative? Maybe he can keep his 1/2 inch drive and just get smaller wheel studs and nuts, like maybe 1/4 inch. 😀 😂 😅 🤣 Bruce

Taking it off: There is a big difference between "tapping" and "hammering." Tapping is OK. Putting it on: When putting it on, ignore the latch button or ring. Align, and slip it on until the latch prevents movement, THEN use the latch button or ring, and push. It's much easier to align when...

Many people travel by train to see the country. Amtrak scheduling makes the rider miss seeing half the route, no matter which way you go. If I took a round trip, on any route with double blue lines, it would be night in both directions for the full section. A section with blue and red could...
