I'm going to be changing the fan belt on my 2305. There is not much room to work around that belt. The owner's manual just says to loosen the mounting bolt and adjustment bolt, move the alternator and take the belt off. Installation is a similar procedure. Thanks. The WIX is not widely available and still very expensive. There must be gold in these filters :) I might just get the JD filter at my dealer.

This has probably already been asked, but my searching turned up nothing. I'm looking to xref a JD LVA121812 hydraulic filter for my 2305 tractor to a WIX filter. Does such a cross reference exist?

You don't need a truck that can tow 20,000 tons up a ramp with fire burning all around it? Do you ever have to tow a space shuttle? How do you carry a couple of 2x4's from the store without that power. Make sure you keep it sparkling clean and avoid dirt at all cost.
