Property taxes are designed for gentrification. It's how people control who lives where. We sold our house in SE PA. Taxes were 14k a year. Moved to Texas. They try the same here but a lot lower out in ranchland. Our taxes now are under 6k which is still alot. Paying for the house addition and...

I just got off the tractor snd shot everything with a temp gun. Hottest spot was the top of the Landshark motor at 170. 180 is normal for hydraulic systems. Diesel fuel is much easier to store than gasoline. It doesn't degrade nearly as quickly as gas. Most modern diesel engines use super high injection pressures in the 30,000 psi range. HPCR (High Pressure Common Rail) This allows the injectors to highly atomize the fuel. Also the computers are...

    YT359C Door glass blow up

I would never move my YT359C with the main door open. I would think Yanmar would not want you to run it with the main door open. That large glass door is quite heavy and shaking it around while using the tractor in itself is unadvisable. The hinges most likely arent designed to hold that door...

Not sure how much you want to spend. Look at the Yanmar SA221. Runs around 12k and possible 2k rebate. I have the largest Yanmar... YT359C. 59hp. In case you were unaware, all smaller JD tractors are Yanmar powered...

How to Recover a Lost Submersible Well Pump

Ours was put in 2 years ago. $18,000. 3 wire but not 3 phase. We get sulfur in our water here so we use the old air over water tank to help reduce sulfur smell. No bladder. Having to use a tank kind of negates the 3 phase frequency drive in my case.

How to Recover a Lost Submersible Well Pump

My well is 600ft but they hung the pump at 360. They know the water table levels in the area and the drawdown. It's much cheaper to not hang it at say 550 ft. The deeper you hang it... more pipe, more wire, bigger pump for the added head.

How to Recover a Lost Submersible Well Pump

OMG I used to do 8 cord a year mostly by myself. 15 cord is a whole lot of wear and tear on ones back. I'm 63 and now just buy wood cause my back is shot. Bought an antique conveyor to get it up on the deck.

    YT359C Sluggish Power steering

Just got off the phone with Yanmar Tech Support. They do acknowledge there is an issue and it is being addressed. They took my name and number and will get back if/when an engineering solution is available.

    YT359C Sluggish Power steering

This is in the manual. It's not correct. It should say at lower rpms the power steering is disabled. I certainly wasn't operating with a load, at idle. Today I'll do a test and a video.
  125. W

    YT359C Sluggish Power steering

That's strange. Do all tractors have this issue or just Yanmar? I know my JD 310SE backhoe doesn't do that.

    YT359C Sluggish Power steering

I just experienced this yesterday with a load of dirt in the loader. Brand new tractor. You turn the steering wheel and it's hard to turn if at all. You see a delayed response as the front tires try to turn... and they do but unsatisfactorily. Had to back up and get it to turn. I have a call...

Been running my YT359C the past few days doing dirt work. The A/B mode really makes creeping up to the side of my building nice and controlled with the I-HMST transmission. One button on the FEL control stick allows you to toggle between two presets of ground speed and rpm combinations. So I...

Umm.. did you read the temperatures I listed coming out of the cylinders? Enough of this. Apparently you are on some mission. We're just talking here. No reason for anyone to get paranoid. To each his own. You are correct... no DPF, no regen. The program controls that. Programs can be edited...

Btw, I have a 2004 Dodge Cummins diesel. It is the last year where the only emissions was egr in the cam profile. No dpf, no cat... from the factory. It produces 900 to 1300 degrees egt and in 18 years I have never had a tire catch fire. Gas engines can get even higher for short periods. 1400 to...

Upgrading From the Dewalt 18V Platform

As far as the lug is concerned, maybe it's related to the same issue I have with my Makita batteries. Makita came out with newer batteries that won't go on some of my older tools due to a plastic part that prevents final docking. The reason is the newer batteries are higher amp hour and have...

I love the term "buzzard" but as a bird enthusiast if you look in the bird books vultures are vultures.... buzzards are a totally different bird. Buzzards are raptors.... yes hawks. They hunt and kill their food. Vultures are scavengers. Basically nature's cleanup crew. But here in Texas...

But how does engine rpm mechanically translate to time? At idle time would slow down. At full power time will speed up. To answer my own question I just looked it up. Just picked up a 336.. couple quick questions

Reading the manual, draft control maintains implement depth when traversing hills and swales. It also reduces depth when the ground gets harder to help maintain power. This lever is not frozen. Looks clean and in working order.
