Where should I start, it seems that the fuel gauge on my L3400 stays on full even though I added 5 gals to fill the tank. The gauge on my wife's BX1860 seems not to be moving off full either. Hers took 2-2.5 gallons to fill.
Thanks all.
Has anyone had issues with dipper stick damage after adding a thumb to their back hoe? I am looking at a mechanical thumb with the possibility of hydraulic conversion later. I wouldn't think it would be a problem because Woods offers a thumb option, but my dealer says their may not be enough...
I am trying to hook my Woods 7500 back hoe up to my tractor and the hydraulic couplings are refusing to engage. The tractor is off, so there shouldn't be any pressure on the lines, correct? The female outer ring on the coupler is loose and working properly. My thoughts are that the O-ring is...
I am thinking about a thumb for my tractor and am looking for recommendations. I am not familiar with thumbs at all. For me at this time money is very tight, but I want something that will last.
Does any one have alternative oil filter numbers for the L3400 and the BX1860 tractors, such as NAPA, Fram, WIX, etc. If you have the stock Kubota filter numbers I could try to cross reference them also.
Thanks all.
My wife was mowing the lawn the other night with her new BX1860 and all of a sudden it died. No sputter, just shut down. Restarted OK. Then when she parked it it did not want to shut off. I had to move the solenoid linkage to shut it down.
Solenoid or ignition switch? The guages are also...
I need to pull power from around the fuse box off a wire that is controlled by the ignition switch. Everything appears to be so tight. I want to power the coil on some relays through some switches.
Help anyone, easy spot to tap in?
Thanks.
What is the best thing to use to keep grass from sticking to a new mower deck? I just got a new BX1860 with a new 54" MMM and I would like to coat it with something to keep grass from sticking to it. I was even wondering about coating it with something like a spray bed liner.
Thoughts anyone?
The wife was cutting the lawn on her BX1500 yesterday and is slowed considerably and stopped going in reverse. Sometimes it will barely go in reverse, sometimes will speed back up. No warning or signs of problems before. Ii was researching and I am going to remove the screen and clean it...
Has anyone added a cooler for the hydraulic fluid? If so, easiest place to mount it and what did you use? I am wondering about adding one because when using my back hoe pulling stumps the hoses get pretty hot, too hot to hold for a length of time. I have blown 2 hoses in two days. Could heat...
New to posting here guys. City boy trying to learn.
I just purchased a used L3400 with FEL and backhoe. I need to remove the backhoe and install the 3 pt hitch. All the threaded linkage was rusted up and I have got it all loose except one end of the top link. Still working on it.
I have...
I am looking at a 2004 L3400 w/FEL and Woods 7500 backhoe. It has three Gannon buckets for the backhoe, I think they are 10, 14, and 22 inch. Not sure how to measure the buckets, that looks like the inside measurement. It has about 550 hours on it. What would a decent price range be for...
